    • I Couldn't Be Happier
I bought this because I'm allergic to nearly every perfume, fragrance, and odors on the planet, in that it causes respiratory distress (trouble breathing). There are only a small handful of fragrances/smells I can handle. Since I've tried every premade liquid shower soap/gel in all the local stores and had no luck finding any I can tolerate, I opted to try finding an unscented/fragrance free one and make my own by adding fragrance oils of the few smells I can tolerate to it. It was not an easy task. I was able to find some fragrance oils that were made correctly and were tolerable. The unscented/fragrance free soap was just as difficult. I have yet to find ANY that have absolutely NO smell to it at all. Most are made with ingredients that have their own natural odors, and many of those smells are pretty nasty. Also, many are very thin and liquidy, don't stay in the wash cloth nor do they lather up much (if at all). Not to mention many leave you feeling like a greased pig (very slick, slippery) an unable to scrub that slickness off. I'm very happy to say that although this liquid body wash does have an odor of it's own, it is really faint. The soap is nice and thick and stays on the wash cloth, lathers well, and doesn't leave that slick/slippery feeling. It mixes well with my fragrance oils (the thickness makes you have to stir it up more to get an even and thorough blending but well worth the effort). I am pleased as punch with this soap and plan to use it from here on out. It works very well for me. No rashes, no respiratory distress, just a nice clean feeling.     • Great even for adults!
I had a REALLY bad rash that developed after two months worth of every-other-day use from an all natural, essential oil - based body wash. I broke out so severely that even my hands were blistered! I began seeking out a solution which resulted in the purchase of calamine lotion, hydrocortisone cream, colloidal oatmeal lotion, and taking nightly oatmeal baths. I bought this body wash and began using it immediately. In conjunction with my other purchases this wash not only helped to soothe the rash, but heal it within a week of use. The cold, dry weather had been wreaking havoc on my skin, causing itchiness, sensitivity and dryness. I don't like to use body lotion all over my body due to the greasy residue and hassle. Using this body wash product leaves my skin moist and irritation free for 24 hours. The results are immediate. It also has no annoying artificial scent!     • Good Buy for Cleanser
Great for the price. I don’t use liquid cleansers but this one isn’t drying and helps remove make up. I use a scrub in between days to exfoliate. It could have more oatmeal but still creamy and suds decently. Also, suds don’t mean it works better just means more chemicals.

Noticed an immediate difference after only a few baths. We were using other popular brands of baby shampoo and our child’s eczema continued to get worse even with liberally lotioning them head to toe afterward. After a few washes with Aveeno, we noticed their skin was softer, eczema was less red and inflamed. The bottle seemed to be open and some product was missing when it arrived. The directions say not to use the product if the quality seal has been broken. Edit: Ordered again and the product seal was not broken. The product itself is great for our little one. Super gentle.

Full disclosure: I use this as shampoo when I get a heat rash scalp flare up! I do not have a baby and can't speak to that usage, but for my purposes, it has been a wonderful find.     • Far too drying
This soap is barely less drying than a regular baby wash. It’s not non-stripping or moisturizing at all. It also has no slip while washing. I don’t need suds, but this much “drag” is uncomfortable. My hands were painfully dry after using this product only once. I live in a desert climate with very hard water and both things are harsh on my skin, my hands in particular. In more humid climates, my skin is more oily than dry, but the sub 20% humidity here really sucks all the moisture out of your skin. I need a hand soap that cleanses but does not strip any moisture from my skin (added moisture would be great, too), and this baby wash is definitely not it. I’m pretty disappointed after reading all these great reviews and the product description. Maybe this soap works well in more humid climates, but not here. I wouldn’t use it for bathing my dog, either (she is also struggling with dry skin). What I found that worked for my hands: Cerave’s Hydrating Facial Cleanser (+ applying a rich cream after, as usual). The Cerave cleanser is WAY better than this baby wash. ... show more
