This shampoo works perfectly on my hair which fine, but a lot of fine hair, and it does not weigh my hair down. Unlike other shampoo brands, there is no build-up, and the scent is very mild. Aveda has a shampoo for all hair types. My hair is thick and wavy and this product does such a great job keeping it soft (without the limp look). Aveda could make a better scent though as it reminds me of a mans barber shop smell. Kind of chemical smell. Other than that, very good product and will keep using
