So annoying to find such a great, effective product then have it discontinued and replaced by an inferior product at an increased expense. I stocked up and I hope that by the time I run out another company (or even Aveda) will bring something as effective as this to the marketplace. The secret is to tap the product lightly in your palm, rub palms together and apply from the root. Otherwise if you follow directions and tap over your head you will risk having clumps of white powder that are noticeable. Thankfully, my hair is silver white and camouflages the product, leaving a slight residue on individual hairs that thicken the hair volume, something I need. Reduces the need to strip the hair of natural oils with frequent washing. I use all Aveda products but even Aveda shampoos and rinses and other products can stress hair out. Highly recommend.

This is by far one of the best dry shampoos I have ever used and I was so excited to find it so reasonably priced on here! I have light colored hair and it does leave a little white residue but that's honestly something I look for and sometimes enjoy when looking for a good dry shampoo. I love that this is just a powder thats easy to brush through your roots compared to some aerosol sprays that leave a wet residue

I really like aveda products and philosophy, and I wanted to love this. The product itself is great, my favorite dry shampoo to date. However - and this is a big however with a product this expensive! - the pump mechanism is an old-school push type mechanism, and it stopped working after the first use. Does not expel any product at all. And when it did work the one time, it was uneven and kind of a pain - no way of distributing evenly. So now I have to open the bottle, dump some into my hand or onto a brush and kind of shake it through my hair which wastes a lot and doesn't work all that well. I suspect the pump design is geared toward eco-friendliness, and that is great; but it needs to work better than this or it just isn't worth the price.

My daughter could be the spikes person. Long brown fine hair but a lot of it. The bottle is little, but last a long time. She calls this one of her luxuries that she can not live without. I am always impressed after she uses it. She says it is a time and life safer for. It is a “must have” for her vanity!

It's not the easiest to use, but it has been the best dry shampoo I have used so far. I have dark brown hair so you really have to work it in. I like the smell and it gives nice volume to my hair. Easy to travel with which I do for work.

Love it. I use it once and it lasts four at least 2 days after that. Works really well, definitely my favorite out of all three numerous others I've tried. Just a little on the pricey side though.

I tried this and thought it would be my salvation for in between washes. I really love Aveda products, but this just didn’t hit the mark. I didn’t know it came out as a powder. It’s a little harder to use than a spray, but I figured out how to do even applications. For me it felt like it dried out my hair, but my hair still looked greasy. Pretty much the opposite effect I was looking for.
