As someone new to flying the DJI Avata 2, I picked these up to give me some added insurance while learning the ropes, and they’ve already proven their worth. Installation was easy, and once clipped on, they fit snugly without any rattling or shifting during flight. There’s no interference with the propellers, which was one of my concerns going in. I’ve had three minor crashes so far (outdoor and low-altitude misjudgments), and thanks to these guards, my drone is still in perfect shape. They do a great job protecting the propellers and gimbal area during bumps, and the bright orange color makes the drone easier to spot, especially when flying low or in cluttered areas. One thing to note: at higher altitudes, I noticed a bit of wind buffeting. Nothing too dramatic, but it’s there. These guards add some surface area, which can catch wind and affect stability a little in breezier conditions. That’s the tradeoff between durability and aerodynamics. Pros: Snug, rattle-free fit Excellent protection for minor crashes Bright orange increases visibility No prop interference Quick and simple installation Cons: Slight wind buffeting in windy conditions Adds some bulk, which may affect aggressive flying Summary: These guards are a must if you're a new Avata 2 pilot still getting your bearings. They've saved my drone from rookie mistakes, and the slight tradeoff in high-altitude performance is more than worth the added protection. Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.5 stars rounded to 5) A smart safety upgrade for beginner FPV flyers.

I have two sets of these bumper guards in different colors, and I’ve been really happy with them. They add a nice custom look to my DJI Avata 2 while also providing a little extra protection, which gives me more confidence when I’m flying. I don’t expect these to magically save the drone in a major crash, and I don’t think that’s what they’re designed for. Where they really shine is protecting against the little bumps and scrapes that can happen during normal flying, landing, or while navigating tighter spaces. The fit is great, installation was easy, and they stay securely in place. I also like being able to switch between colors depending on the look I want. If you own an Avata 2, these are an inexpensive accessory that’s well worth picking up. They add some personality to the drone and provide extra peace of mind for the minor mishaps that every pilot is bound to experience.

I’ve had the orange BRDRC Avata 2 Bumper Guards on my drone for a couple weeks now, and I’m really happy with them. First off, they just look great. The orange is bright without being over-the-top, and it gives the drone a clean, sharp look that stands out in the best way—especially in the air. But looks aside, these guards do their job. They fit securely and don’t shift around mid-flight, and they’ve already saved my propellers a couple of times during tighter maneuvers. They’re lightweight enough that they don’t seem to affect flight performance, but solid enough to offer real protection. It’s rare that something so practical also adds to the overall aesthetic, but these really do. If you’re flying the Avata 2 and want something that looks good and works well, I’d definitely recommend these.

The Amazon ai states that these weigh 70 grams total. That is incorrect. I bought two sets of these and both sets weigh 44 grams each (see attached photos). I haven't flown them yet, but they seem to be of good quality. I will update if anything changes

I got this for some extra duct guard protection on my Avata 2 and so far it has worked great and also with it’s bright color it makes spotting my Avata 2 easy if and when I have to do the walk of shame to go retrieve it. It’s somewhat flexible but rigid enough to stay in place under fast flight loads.

Its a dang loose fit. I do not trust it at 70mp to not fall off and into the motors. I would trust them if they were duct tape.

Solid Protection with a Splash of Style. The BRDRC Avata 2 Bumper Guards Propeller Guard Protector in orange is a really nice accessory if you want extra peace of mind while flying your DJI Avata 2. It fits easily around the propellers and frame, and once installed it does a good job of helping prevent accidental knocks from turning into bigger problems. I like how the orange color adds a bit of personality to the drone — it’s bright and easy to spot, which is nice when you’re flying outdoors or in a group. The guards feel reasonably sturdy without being overly heavy, and they don’t interfere with the basic flight controls or responsiveness. Installation was quick and straightforward. Everything snapped into place securely, and it stayed put during flight without any rattling or shifting. It’s clear the design was made to be user‑friendly, so you don’t have to fuss with tools or complicated steps. The reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that they add a little extra drag and weight, which can slightly affect agility and flight time. It’s not dramatic, but experienced flyers may notice the difference, especially during aggressive maneuvers. Additionally, while the guards protect against light bumps and brushes, they aren’t a full safeguard in more intense impacts. Overall, the BRDRC Avata 2 Bumper Guards are a worthwhile addition for pilots who want more confidence in tighter spaces or around obstacles. Good protection, eye‑catching color, and easy setup make this a practical choice for everyday flying.

The bumpers arrived on time with no damage. I put them on my Avata2 drone and they fit perfectly. I did bump a chair while flying and no damage was found. I don't know if they affect battery life because I'm just learning to fly this drone. I might compare after I get some more experience.
