Got this tape for our greenhouse, which no amount of silicone caulk seemed to be helping it be anything but a sieve when it rained. When my husband first installed this, it was a 50 degree day but sunny, and the tape did not want to stick to the wood. His report at that point was "it's basically just duct tape, and duct tape would probably stick better". We waited to review it, though, figuring we'd let it rain a few times before we made up our minds. Well this week we had torrential downpours for 24 hours, multiple flood warnings, and an essentially dry greenhouse. It still leaked in one spot around the sunroof, where there was no getting this tape to stick to the metal hinge, but everywhere else where the tape had adhered even a little, the water stayed out finally. So I'm happy. I have no idea how long it will last - presumably the summer sun will eventually wear it out - but until the spring when I can finally get up there and make some permanent solution changes, it's doing the trick. 4 stars.

This is pretty good tape atleast for fixing tents or other Canvas items. It does a pretty good job at making a permanent repair. Sticks well and doesnt stick out to awful bad. Overall id say this good stuff even if i think zip tape is a better overall product its also a lot more money then this stuff

The bottom of my RV is not Coroplast, and is not as smooth, so maybe that is why, but I had high hopes until it fell off under its own weight after a day.

I have an odd-sized, odd-shaped grill cover that's difficult to replace. This patched it up quite well, despite the UV damage it had received. Still holding up well after a couple months.

This did what I needed. I had a tear in my tonneau cover and I used this, but the adhesive became "gummy" and it peeled off after a couple months. I assume it was the sun, super-heating the adhesive, but I also hoped it would work better because this is it's intended use. On to the next one...

I gave this Autrends Tent Repair, Awning Repair, Canvas Repair and Fabric Repair Tape 5 stars because of my experience last night with the tape and a ripped bed sheet. Getting into bed the wife said, our bed sheet has a rip in it ??? Not wanting to have to strip the bed and place a new sheet on it, I said, hey let me try my new tape !! Wow, it is sticky and considering I am trying to tape a thin cotton sheet it worked great !! Now I do have one complaint, I believe that the tape should have installation instructions. I know, I am being picky, right, but this is not your average tape and to get the most out of this product, I want to insure I install it per the manufacturers recommendation. Autrends, you have a nice product, just include an installation instruction sheet!

This is a 3" wide and very sticky tape that is some sort of plastic with an embedded fiber-reinforced base and a fairly sticky adhesive. No backing, you peel it like duct tape (the silver all purpose tape that isn't actually for ductwork). The adhesive is less gummy and the tape tears off the roll more easily than the familiar silver tape. The fact that it has a different adhesive isn't necessarily bad since typical silver duct tape adhesive tests to dry out and break down after a year. Possibly this stuff has a better adhesive, but would take a year of testing to figure this out. Does seem adequate for fabric repair and looks like would create a water-tight seal. Longevity and flexibility would be the question since it's basically a plastic film. There may be better options for this type of repair but still seems like a competent product
