Works perfect@
Size: 7 Pin to 4 Pin
Its a little tight putting it into the plug on my truck. It works like a charm and lights up my Harley Davidson hitch cover. I bought specifically to light up the HD cover, but because it’s plugged in, the car senses that I'm pulling a trailer and now my rear motion sensor aid is turned off. I'll have to get used to the sensor being turned off when Im backing up.

Does not fit a 2023 Honda Ridgeline round 7-way plug, but it might fit yours!
Size: 7 Pin to 4 Pin
Rating Update: Despite others that complained about this product being too large, I went for the price and bought this thinking I prefer a tight fit, and 93% rated it 4 or 5 stars. Well, it's more than a tight fit and it was a bear removing it out of the plug. I needed to tow my boat yesterday when it arrived and was determined to get it in the receptacle, at one point I almost gave up- I even lubed it with silicone grease. I don't think it bottomed out into the receptacle, but the lights work. I hate returning a product if I used it but I'll see if they'll let me, because I'm not going through this routine every time I need to use this. And needless to say, I can't recommend this adapter, at least for my application. UPDATE: The seller contacted me which has not happened often after I leave a low rating on Amazon, so I'm raising my star rating from 1 to 4, as it made me delve into more of the positive reviews. As I reread the other rating left on this product, it makes me wonder why the fit ranges from tight to loose, isn't a 7-way round RV socket standard? Apparently not. So if you find some adapters are loose in your socket, this will be the one you want.

Outside diameter of 7-blade to 4-pin adapter is too large
Size: 7 Pin to 4 Pin
Please read all. First, this review is specific to AutoSonic brand of 7-blade to 4-pin trailer adapterm purchased July 2025. Second, it appears AutoSonic lumps all their product reviews together. If you read through them while viewing a specific product, you will see there are reviews for multiple products. (Maybe all suppliers do this?) Some of the reviews I read, specific to the 7 to 4 adapter indicated the buyer found the adapter was too large. I wondered what the likelyhood would be that all were like that and ordered anyway because of the low price. It turns out the diameter of the adapter is indeed too large. I tried it on two different trailer connectors and both were "No Go". Measuring the adapter outside diameter and comparing to the inside diameter of the connectors, I found the adapter to be 0.005" to 0.03" oversized. This adapter is totally useless! It was returned immediately. There is no need to comment on any other product attributes because this adapter is a non-starter! It does not deserve one star! The manufacturer needs to re-design their mold. I purchased a new adapter in store from a reputable manufacturer (Hopkins) and the fit allows ample clearance. I seems I have had a 50/50 chance for fit-up problems with other Chinese made products as well; but I keep trying and hoping they get it right.
