  • Female mechanic?
Hells yeah! I did it I bought this radiator from Amazon put in myself because I ditched the husband. And because most auto mechanics are too expensive and because I'm a woman I can do it and that's why I did it hell yeah and it works phenomenally... Next will be my muffler system.. And I would be remissed if I didn't give a shout out to my YouTube University where I learned how to install this stuff.. Ladies don't ever wait on a man trust me. ... show more

  • EASY TO INSTALL
I was surprised with the fast ship here, and the excellent packing...came air wrapped ,plastic around. The radiator was easy to install..my first for my 1999 Camry LE....It DOES NOT come with a new Radiator cap.It is best to get a good one at an Auto Parts Store.Picked up one for 14 bucks..stay away from the cheaper ones.,the seal is not tight. Take rubber bushings at bottom of old radiator[2] rubber bushings, and use them for the new radiator,or buy new ones...it does not come with botton bushings... Make sure to use new clamps when reconnecting hoses to radiator., the trans coolant lines, the lower radiator hose, upper hoses, and the thin hose that goes from the overflow tank, to just under the radiator cap ....Do not over tighten the screw clamps. Also, pour anti freeze in a cup to gently add to the opening of the new radiator..we tried using a funnel and it was spilling over....Just start engine after a few cups,4 to 5, in the radiator..turn heat half way on and watch coolant drop when thermostat opens. Then you can slowly add more to fill radiator.,and fill overflow to the line on side.Check levels the following day.,monitor heat gauge. We followed those steps and so far., this radiator is working just fine. If you have an older car like mine ...1999 Toyota....Spray all bolts on the bottom metal plate under radiator with a bolt and nut lubricant,....before you try to loosen them. Plate is heavy so you will need a helping hand to support it coming down, and,to re-install. Overall, very happy with this purchase. I recommend this seller.Steve M ... show more

  • quality for value
The only issue I had was on the bottom of the radiator there's two pegs that take two rubber bushings that sit in Holes those bags were too small they didn't have the adapter bushings or any bushings with it to mount it and they areradiator specific so I had to come up with my own
