    • Great radiator. Great price. Awesome shipping.
The radiator was exactly like the OEM Ford original on my Explorer 4.0L V6. Could not be happier with it and it was a third of the price local suppliers were asking for the same raditor!! Now shipping was not overnight BUT this supplier actually used a very good shipping box (thick) with styrofoam inserts and all required hardware (both types of oil couplers, drain spigot and metal clips on all required points were a bolt would fasten to it). This radiator was received by me in perfect condition (No dings, bent fins or mangled metal). As I stated, very good shipping box. Bought TWO other radiators from other suppliers and they were bent busted when I got them (sent both back) Thank you Amazon. NOTE to all, the radiator does not come with a radiator cap. My advice is to buy a NEW compatible cap for your NEW radiator. If the cap is old the rubber starts fail and it will leak or not seal in the intended manner. The radiator cap is a crucial part of the cooling system. Check the upper and lower radiator hoses as well for damage, bulging, cracks, leaks etc.. This is a great time to check your cooling system, change the coolant, change the thermostat (3 bolts on top of the engine) 4.0L V6 Ford Explorer. I would also suggest checking your serpentine belt and pulleys while you have the radiator out as it's much easier to inspect those parts with radiator shroud out of your way. Everything seems fine. However, the 2 top clips were smaller than the originals. 3 stars because I wasted an hour plus trying to figure out why my old bolts were not working. I removed the old but clips (whatever they are called), and replaced the clips on the new unit. Other than the clips everything else worked and fit perfectly. ... show more

The radiator is ok but the connectors for the transmission cooler line don't fit with the original. I try using the ones from the original radiator and also don't fit. I haven't been able to use it.
