These are an excellent alternative with baby proofing. They provide a relatively secure lock, one that very young children definitely cannot open. They are helpful, easy to install, and efficient. The design is easy to open and close once you know where it is.

Our cabinets don't have handles, so had to go the childproofing route that requires the locks to be on the inside of the cabinet, and went with these magnetic lock options. They are very easy to install, you install the part inside the cabinet and then the part for the door sits in it so when you close the cabinet it attaches to the exact spot needed. Very handy (but need to read instructions to make sure you don't just try and get everything to stick on your own). The magnets work great with them and love that there are 2 so you can put them in different spots in the kitchen.

I generally would not recommend these to anyone because it didn’t come with any of the actual latches for one of the sides of the door. So I couldn’t even install it to try it out. Which really saddens me because the stickiness seemed really good and so did the functionality of it if it came with everything it was supposed to.

These magnetic cabinet locks are a must-have for baby proofing. Unlike other cabinet locks, these locks keep the door completely shut so no baby fingers get smashed. It can be frustrating to find the key magnet every time you need to get in the cabinet, but it's worth it, in my opinion. The installation can be a little confusing, but using the included cradle as a guide makes it fairly easy. The adhesive on the locks is pretty strong. My son has pulled on my cabinet doors a lot, and none of them have broken off. I definitely recommend these magnetic locks, especially for the value!
