Not OEM quality but worth the money. I am posting a lot of pictures of my installation of the right side headlight to show you what I am talking about in this review.I would probably actually give this about 3 1/2 stars. For about a third of the price of OEM they are worth the money. If you’re handy and have a little patience and don’t mind doing very minor modification. Go ahead and buy these lamps. But if you expect them to fit and work like original appointment then do not. The only real modification I made was taking out the old Phillips head screws that hold in the headlamp holding ring and replace them with the torx screws that came with the original because as was stated in previous reviews the screws were stripped and I was ready for that because I had read reviews first before purchasing. The tools you will need would be a 10 mm socket with a 6 inch extension and ratchet. A Phillips, straight slot and torx screwdriver. There are three screws with 10 mm heads that need to be removed and a “dammit clip”! I call it a dammit Clip because that was the expletive I chose. When trying to figure out how to get the headlamp assembly out. You can use the street side screwdriver to loosen the clip and to pull the old clip out of the fender hole. See the pictures. Once you remove the assembly you have to remove the bulbs unplug the lamps. Remove the retainer ring from the headlamp bulb use the torx screws from the old Headlamp assembly and replace the Phillips screws that will most likely be stripped already when you get it. The torx screws From the original assembly are longer and hold better. If you push the headlamp bulb all the way into the lamp the retainer ring will be loose no matter how tight you make the torx screws. I’ve read another reviews were people have added an O ring to the headlamp bulb and fix this problem I may have to do this later but for now I just did not push the headlamp bulb all the way in to the assembly. I was just going to use the whole socket and bald from the old assembly for the turn signal because the socket was painted chrome and the new one was black. The socket would not fit in the new lamp apparently it is made differently then OEM. After putting the bulbs in the new assembly and putting the retainer ring back on I Put the lamp back on the truck with the three screws and dammit clip in reverse order. It was getting dark after I replace the right assembly So I will replace the left one tomorrow. Since it was dark I was able to adjust my headlamp it is very simple using a Phillips screwdriver her and loosening or tightening the two rods until it was aimed correctly. As a Prime item the headlights came in the appropriate amount of time. I purchased these because my originals were clouded and cracked. To my surprise, the new ones had a dollop of oil and a piece of plastic smeared in the middle inside lens of the right headlight. After all, I did purchase these to clear up my problem not continue it. As another reviewer mentioned, the rings that holds the halogen bulbs in place are too loose to hold them. So, I tried with the greatest of care to slightly turn the screws that the ring flanges tight. Of course they strip with a almost nothing turn. Bottom line is that quality control is minimal. I would go with another brand next time. Edit: Autosaver88 read my review and offered to send another one if I provided a picture. I had already concocted a tool made from straws and taping a cotton ball with alcohol to clean the inside of lens. I probably should have contacted them before starting this as it took an extra hour. At least the seller seems to want to resolve your issues. ... show more

This product was awesome, once I noticed the end cap on the headlight that replaces the original price in the wheel well the installation was flawless. They were easy to aim and I was very pleased. Got these to replace foggy headlights on my 05 Dodge Ram 1500. They look the same in the box and side by side. The connectors where the lights go into the housing have to be switched out from the oem. Not much of a problem if you know that ahead of time. I have a bad back and the bending to try to get the connectors to fit the housing was my biggest problem. Once switched out the lights fit. At least they look good at night. ... show more

2004 Ram 2500 Cummins, still had the originals on at the time these new ones where installed. My original headlights where badly yellowed and faded, these new units look really good and where very easy to install (less than 10 minutes total). They also came with components I wasn’t expecting, like the plastic locking tab that goes into metal frame of truck and the bulb electrical holders. Exactly what I needed, an inexpensive swap out of my old lights for new looking ones. They fit just fine, but I did break a small plastic guide stick, but it bolted and stayed in place regardless. Install is a slight pain, but not hard, just cumbersome and easier if you have a truck you don't baby too much. The pics speak for themselves that these are great replacement lights. ... show more
