They seem to be good quality, but they are very difficult to install. There are two bolts that are VERY hard to remove and reinstall, but that is a Toyota design problem, not a headlight problem. Time will tell how they hold up, but so far they are great. And no, they don't come with bulbs.

Great looking headlights, install was pretty easy, I made sure to seal them the day before with some silicone and so far no issues with moisture. The only issue I have is the lower led on the passenger side does not work - customer service is sending a replacement out so hopefully I’ll be good to go. Also the little voltage regulator, gets super hot like over 200 degrees, so be careful - I burned the heck out of my thumb when I went to pick it up after testing out the lights. Because of this I mounted them directly behind my grill so they are being air cooled as much as possible!! Also yes - the lights def need to be replaced as they are not very bright and also still trying to figure how to adjust them - they are about a foot different from each other. Over all a great headlight - I feel maybe a bit over priced but they do look nice!! ... show more

Installation was ok but when I turned them on the left turn signal did not work, The right side works and looks great. Left side installed the same as the right but not working? Will work on it again tomorrow. Looks good, the wife thinks they are good looking.

These headlights came in in three days and that next weekend I installed them. I was surprised they did not come with new bulbs, but I used the existing bulbs and they are working good. I did have to adjust the direction of the beams but there are two adjustment screws on back that allow up/down and right/left adjustment of the beam and that fixed the random aim they got from the install. Since I am a weekend and very randomly weekend mechanic, it took me two hours of pretty detailed work to install these as Toyota has placed a mounting location almost against the nearby fender. I did not have to remove the fender, but I did have to get under the car and extend my whole arm up to the mounting screw, and squeeze my 10mm ratchet in there to unscrew the bolt to free the old light assy, and also to reverse the process on each side to mount the new light assy. I was delighted both headlights were made for my truck and they did work once I mounted the old bulbs in them and mounted the assys into the front of the truck. Also, in case you don't know, you have to remove the front grill to get to one of the mounting bolts of the old light assys on each side. ... show more

My OEM headlights (2011 Tacoma) were both fogged and cracked. I didn't feel like paying $250+ per side, so got these for around $110/pair. They fit perfectly, and install easily enough, there are several youtube videos outlining Tacoma headlight replacement. I liked the blacked-out reflector border, as my truck is black. So far, minimal fogging after washing the truck, but no water entry from washing or rain. The fogging is due to warm housings and cold water and rapidly disappears. I had also read about aiming issues, but these will aim, the small aiming screws are turned all the way in when you get them, just back them out a bit and they work fine. The light pattern is good once you get them aimed, but a bit ...different... from OEM. I think the reflector just isn't as precise. Still shows bright, the low beams have a good cutoff and high beams project well. Time will tell about durability and how long the lenses stay clear, so I can't comment yet about that. I do believe these are made to the older OE specs; the DTRL bulb seems to sit close to the lens, like the older OE lights do, so there is the potential for these new lights to get melted by the DTRL bulbs. Took a little effort to install as the one screw under the wheel well is a real bear to get at. It helped to crank the wheels all the way to the right, when installing the passenger side, and vice versa when installing the drivers side. YouTube also helped as it comes with zero instructions, so it's a little unclear on which parts need to be removed in order to access the lights. Spoiler alert, you only need to remove the front grill, which is super simple. Gave it 4 stars as the horizontal adjuster does nothing. However, the vertical adjustment worked pretty well. No issues with lights fogging or condensation after getting it washed. I installed this in my 2009 Toyota Tacoma double cab Pre-runner and it fitted perfectly and looks great. ... show more

Install was a bit of a pain, but doable for a “damsel in distress.” Lol. I’ve done plenty of wrenching on my own, the trickiest part of the install was that dang “hidden” bolt (10 mm) on the bottom corner. Luckily, I am small enough...I squished myself up under/between the truck and the bumper after loosening part of the inner fenders. It was quite helpful that I was able to somewhat sit under there. Size DOES matter. I tried lying down and my abs of not so much steel were shaking so bad, I thought a minor earthquake was happening. One thing that I am confused about...I have 2008 Tacoma. The hole for parking light is in the incorrect place...it’s too high (upper/outer edge). 🤔 it doesn’t go behind the yellow “lense” (lower outer).You can see the actual light built in the clear part of the lense. 🧐 Since it was 100 degrees hotter than the sun outside, I just left it. 🤷🏼♀️ ... show more
