In a good way, or bad, depending on your sense of smell. The app could use a little more work during setup, but once that initial hiccup was passed, the setup went smoothly. I was apprehensive at first but this console really does work and it works well! I’m looking forward to the additional scents they have promised and I’m interested to see if a customizable option will be available in the future. The device has clearly barely done through any QC at all. The phone application has probably some of the worst UX I've seen in years. It's extremely unintuitive. The company makes zero effort to change that. A simple video showcasing how to install the device would've easily made up for the lack of instructions in the box and the terrible directions in the phone app. Also why the heck do I have to sign up and make an account to even be able to think about installing the device? Also it has to always be connected to you phone or it doesn't work because your phone acts as the bridge between the adapter and the scent unit. It's unnecessarily complicated. I personally wouldn't have minded a wired connection between them if wireless cannot be done so I can remove the phone from the equation. The only straightforward thing about the device was deleting the account I made before returning the device which only required the clock of a single button in the app. The scents are strong and can easily fill the room but most of them don't smell anything like they're supposed to, except for storm and forest perhaps. They also have this sickly sweet smell to them that I personally found a little nauseating. But even if the scents aren't to your liking and maybe you'd like to formulate your own custom scents, the damn thing doesn't work. The AI has no idea what is going on. I was shooting a gun in Titanfall 2 and it didn't spray the gunfire scent even once over the period of an entire hour. Neither HDMI nor the Audio options work The passthrough adapter is cheaply made. The adapter adds a ton of low end noise and pulsing when passing audio through it. Even if you wanted to suffer through that for the experience, it just never worked so there was no point to it. The device is clearly untested and it seems to me they just want the customers to be their QA instead because I cannot fathom how they even release the product without even trying it out a few times themselves as most of the issues are pretty self evident when you try to use the device. Unless of course they are aware of this and are still selling the product, in which case that's just plain malicious. The device requires more than just a "final polishing" to be even considered for purchase. It's quite clearly still an alpha product masquerading as a polished final product. DO NOT BUY. Infact I wouldn't want this device even if you PAID me money.

I jumped at the idea of having a full sensory experience while gaming or watching movies. Unfortunately, still hoping to one day have one. Setup is complex and hard to understand. Won't connect to my home wifi, have to Hotspot it to my phone, and can't tell if its working. Played about an hour of games, it fired scents twice, both times were "storm" while I was playing Helldivers 2. No gunfire or explosions triggered. There absolutely NEEDS to be a way to see if it's actually streaming audio to the "AI". Like you can't tell at all, you just stare at it and hope it's listening. So far it seems like it isn't. Other than that, the one scent I've smelled was decent.
