This product, on paper is amazing. In reality... not so good. Not even marginal. It worked well enough on it's first use. After that, the unit failed to power up. Product was returned. Was a little sketchy about buying this. I needed it to pump 10w 40 oil out of a 5 gallon bucket into gallon jugs. It works. It’s slow, it doesn’t pump 2 gallons a minute. But oil is also thicker than gasoline or diesel. It comes with 3 different attachments for gas jugs. Very easy to use. Decent quality, and it didn’t leak. Has a nozzle, similar to a gas pump nozzle. Much easier than picking up that 5 gallon bucket and trying to hold a funnel and pour in a jug at the same time. If I’m being honest I wouldn’t buy it again for oil, I would get something better. Great little pump for transferring gas from storage tank to my truck. No lefting. Fast pumping and no spills The only thing that really could be made better is the clip on the handle is not very strong is broke on the second can of gas. Had to hold it in place as it filled the tank.

Reading the reviews was a slight bit skeptical, but the pump works perfectly. Its best if you can have the can higher than the tank you are filling so it pumps more of the fuel into the tank. Clip that holds the end spout into the tank broke off but the pump flow isn't strong enough to make it an issue. ... show more

After my husband passed away I struggled to fill the mower and other gas powered motors, because I cannot lift a heavy gas can high enough to pour, and find the safety spouts impossible to activate. Manufactures have no consideration for the needs of women when it comes to power equipment. This battery powered gas pump is a wonderful idea. The gas can now remains on the floor and I can pump gas with ease. It even shuts off when the tank is full.
