I purchased these heads to replace 1.94 camel hump heads on my SBC 327. Overall these aluminum heads look and appear to be good quality. Assembly of these heads went smoothly when I purchased a head improvement kit from Competition Products. I DID NOT run into any alignment issues with pushrods or guideplates. I did lose about an inch of vacuum at idle with these heads however, I can only assume this was due to the larger intake runners and valves. Overall these heads have performed well and only time will tell their durability. Definitely a great option for the "Garage Build" enthusiast and a good alternative to the high-end brand name. ... show more

Is anyone else having issues with their valves fitting? It seems entirely too tight for the valves. Almost like I need to drill it out to a bigger size obviously I’m not going to, if I do I’ll have a machine shop do it, but I’m wondering why my factory valves aren’t fitting or if I’m the only one having this issue ... show more
