Yes it does yellow with long extensive use, but that is normal its not as bad for the price. Functionality wise it stays clear bright as long as you use the correct bulb. I personally run the Auxbeam GX Series 9005 and 9006 high and low beam set up with regular 3157 led turn signal and DRL and i have had the best results. While driving consistently out of town in dark roads on freshly paved and marked roads, the strips and white reflectors look so beautiful with the bright white led set up as a result to the strong consistency of the mirror reflection. When i have to replace the housing again im most likely going to get this exact one.

I live in Arizona and own 3 trucks that use these headlight assemblies. As a "functional test" I installed all three assemblies on the same trucks at the same time (+/- within an hour of each installment per truck). Two trucks are work trucks and are always outside with the front ends facing south, which is brutal on lexan in Phoenix. The third truck is my personal driver which is always garaged. This last week, I took my tried and true opacity/light meter out to the outside parked trucks, pulled out a headlight from each of the outside parked trucks stuck the remote probe through a headlight bulb hole, faced into noon sun and compared it to my lightly used driver, (is really a "garage queen"). After two months of installation, the outdoor parked truck headlight assemblies lost 1-1.2 % opacity/light transmission vs. no measurable loss on the garage queen. At this rate, they'll be hard to project usable stock Syllvania headlight lumens in about 3 years. For the price paid, ease of installation, and correct fit, these assemblies are a smoking deal at the current price. As a side note, to the folks that review these assemblies saying the headlight assemblies let "moisture or water in" need to check the foam gasket around their existing headlight/marker light bulbs. The integrity of the projector (headlight assembly) isn't a water barrier, the foam o rings around the headlight/marker light harness is ! Replace your foam o rings around your headlight/marker light harnesses every 24-36 months (depending on where you regularly drive your vehicle, hotter dry climate, 24 months, cooler wetter climate,36 months) and I guarantee you'll never have moisture instrusion in your headlight/marker assembly again.

They install eaSY. They look excellant on my truck. Of Course time will tell how long it will take before they turn yellow or develop a crack. Plastic housing is not as robust as O.M.E. But for money this not a bad deal. You get all four headlights. I put some Gorrilla tape around the outside of bulb fittings to make sure no water gets in.

I got these on a 1500 04 silverado. Look great no leaks my bulbs went in with an extremely tight fit. So it did take some effort to turn them... keeps the moisture out though. Mine came and was a great quality I looked them over for and spots that might leak. I couldn't be happier with them After a year or 2 I am no longer happy with these lamps... they cracked from cold weather and the driver side marker light keeps falling out cause the clip melted.... no idea how it got so hot that 1 piece was melted soft the the point it has no spring to keep it in. They glossed over very quickly and are no longer shiny. They just loom terrible like a cheaply built truck... now I need new lamps and I wont be buying these again

I have a 2003 Chevy 2500 4x4 and the lights look great. The fit was a little tight and I had to work with them some but, the front fenders of my truck are not in pristine alignment either. I recommend them.
