Great sensor, easy to install and program with a TS508WF tool. Used in a 08 Volvo V50 and it worked well. Battery life is TBD. The factory sensor lasted 200k miles / 16 years. I doubt this will last as long but it is much cheaper than the OEM VDO sensor. I had to program the sensor with the TS508WF tool and then install it in the wheel. I had to drive the car about 10 min and the computer picked up the new sensor serial number and the tire light went off.

Works great. It connects quickly and was easy to set what wheel it was in. Pressure is right on the money the first time. I like the fact you can buy just one instead of having to replace them all. That saves money.

I used this sensor to replace one that had failed. It fit correctly. Does not leak. And works as it should. It seems to be accurate as it matches my expensive tire gauge within a few tenths. It was not hard to pair to the vehicle with the correct tool. And the cost is reasonable. Over all its a good value. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is it will not program from most programmers you need to get one from Autel to be able to program it. So if you don't have one, or the shop you are using does not have one you cant program this sensor. But it works well after being programed. And to be honest you can buy 4 of theses and a basic programmer that will program them for less than many shops will charge you for just the sensors alone, and now you can program them your self any time you need to since you have the tool.

Our 2011 Lexus had one of the tire pressure sensors die leaving the error light on. After the dealer wanted $100 just to determine which tire was causing the problem, I decided to purchase the programing device and program a new sensor myself. Discount Tire only charged me $14 to put it in the tire so that's what I did. The new sensor works perfectly once I figured out that there were two learning buttons to push on the Lexus to learn this new sensor. The programming devices are pretty expensive but I figured the sensors in the other tires are probably close to suffering from dead batteries in them and will probably be going out pretty soon.

I have an Autel TS508 TPMS tool. This tool programs the MX sensors. I had to replace a spare tire TPMS sensor on a 2010 Lexus. You can program these sensors using three different methods. Either get the sensor code from the vehicle computer, have the tool generate a code, or read the sensor code when it is still in the tire. Then program the new sensor with the hex code you retrieved. That part is easy. The hardest part is breaking down the tire and trying not to drop the old sensor down inside the tire! Ask me how I know.....Anyway, the sensors work great and I believe they are high quality.

I ordered the a Autel Programmable Universal TPMS Sensors for a set of rims that I had a set of snow tires installed on for the winter. Installation of the sensor was simple. Their add says "100% ID clone-able sensor with no re-learn required, Independently tested and certified to meet SAE industry standard" The Problem!! After I had my local Goodyear dealer install the new tires I asked if they would program the sensors they said they would be happy to program the new sensors no charge as I am a regular customer IF THEIR PROGRAMING EQUIPMENT WAS COMPATIBLE WITH THE Autel Programmable Universal TPMS Sensors. Well their equipment does not recognize the sensors it tells them that there is no sensor in the wheel. I installed the sensors watched them install the tires believe me there in there. I tried another tire shop in the town where I use to live about 50 mile away their equipment read the same. So my option at this point is buy a Autel instrument to the tune of $279.00 that they say will program them and do it myself (another gamble) that I won't take. OR I can go back to the tire dealer and have them break down the tires and install sensors that are truly compatible. Even though I am a good customer they will still charge me for new sensors and the labor and i can through the Autel sensors in the garbage can. To say the least I'm would not purchase anything that says Autel on it.

This makes the 2nd set I have purchased. The1st for an Impala, this set, Highlander. Just as the 1st set, with an Àutel Tool, effortless programming, easy install, and just had the 1st tire issue (debris caused flat), and rotation since the install. Relearn, reset, ok, roll. Not just the 4 rolling, but also the spare riding too, with no signal issue.
