The Autel lite plus has an impressive battery life. The camera delivers excellent results. The overall weight of the drone gives it stable flight characteristics. Don't let the weight turn you off registration is easy on the drone zone. Night shooting is where the lite plus excels. 4th of July fireworks have never looked better with three nighttime presets. The quick shots make favorite videos such as rocket and flip a snap. Hyper lapse has worked well for me. Ludacris speed is great, get to the subject very fast, slow it down to smooth and get your footage. The size and bag are important. The media could not be loaded. I originally bought the mavic air 2 from best buy but returned it for two much noise, I then bought the mavic 2 pro which had less noise but still lots of noise in lowlight conditions. Then the camera got stuck in manual focus after 2 days due to a known hardware issue. Obstacle avoidance and shooting modes are way too conditional to be very useful and no 4k 60! I hoped the 3rd time would be the charm and returned the mavic 2 pro to best buy and ordered the autel evo 2 pro 6k from Amazon (best deal). It has all the features I used, and they were more versatile which actually make intelligent flight modes very useful for pro work. the dynamic track is way better than mavics active track. It seems to be more intuitive and confident while avoiding obstacles and keeping the camera locked on the subject. I love that the tracking features allow you to be at eye level altitude for a great dolly movement effect! Image is great right out of camera. LIKE REALLY GREAT! MUCH BETTER AND MORE COLORS THAN MAVIC! I purchased neat video for denoising the mavics' footage but I haven't had to use it at all for the evos footage yet, (which is kinda bittersweet since I payed 150 bucks for the program and it does a great job!) I'll probably have to update this later because this drone is still exceeding my exceptions every time I use it. Where as, most things with the mavics were less than expected. Youtube reviews don't do the evo 2 justice. I have 3 batteries and have yet to need more than 2 on a shoot. It's got a great battery life, but it also just seems to get great shots on the first take if you adjust the settings properly for the shot/conditions. ... show more

This is a great drone and captures outstanding quality photos and video. I love the HDR video and the detail is amazing. Get extra memory cards though. I had a recording for 1 minute and 4 seconds on 6k mode - it wrote 934MB of data during that time. WOW! Now I have only had it up a few times and I say it’s not great for beginners because it is so advanced and sophisticated. I would say that the intelligent flight modes, while easy to use, should be experimented with and tried in a wide open area free of obstructions until you know exactly how the aircraft will perform under various conditions. I would recommend as much stick time as possible, especially if you want to use this for commercial use (With the appropriate sUAS FAA Part 107 Certification), before agreeing to do the work. It is big and flies fast and it’s good to know how the obstacle avoidance works - and what the limits are. During one of my flights, it attempted to use Accurate Landing but then because I got too close, it stopped and indicated obstacle avoidance active and accurate landing cancelled - it was detecting me! So just practice on it a lot and get to know it’s nuances. The mission planner function is absolutely outstanding and sets it apart from the competitors - you can preprogram a mission, including altitude, speed, gimbal angle, camera direction, and camera actions - like record, time lapse, etc. Lots of flexibility in planning! There are some videos on the AutelDrones site that are worth watching if you are considering this big bird! I see this being my Go To Drone for most of my Part 107 commercial work and can’t wait to fly again! ... show more
