The media could not be loaded. Works well with my 2007 Prius in detecting the hybrid battery pack Data Trouble Code (DTC), P0A80. I replaced my original hybrid battery with the Green Bean refub hybrid battery. As one would expect, the replacement batteries they use are a Frankenstein battery (a whole battery composed with used and aged battery cells). Since May of 2021 (Sept 2023 at time of review), Green Bean has had to come out to replace the battery three times, and that’s not to consider the original replacement of the original. The good: Green Bean’s lifetime warranty, price, they take phone calls on Sundays, quick turn around from time of call to time of repair, they come to your location, never any hassles, except…….they absolutely require a photo of the DTC of P0A80 “replace hybrid battery”. The bad: expect to use the warranty on their batteries, inconvenience of your vehicle being down for a few days. Auto Zone, O’Reilly, etc have Innova OBD2 readers and they just don’t work for my 2007 Prius. Sure, I can drive all the way to the dealership, wait a few hours, and pay $170 for them to diagnose the issue, but why would I do that when I have this $20 Autel code reader that is small and so simple to use like this one? The device is pretty straightforward to use. The instructions are online and downloadable; however, Autel’s website does not make it easy to find the manual, and I was unsuccessful in getting telephonic customer support. Their automated answering service gives the caller the option of a call back, but they don’t unfortunately. Anyway, to get the manual, just do a web search for your specific OBD2 code reader. ... show more

My ex was being petty & demanded his EXACT SAME code reader back even though he has no license at the moment. Great price and got it in 2 days. Super easy to plug in, understand & temporarily clear certain “check engine” codes my sensors in my newly purchased 2013 Nissan Rogue might throw at me.

I used this for checking the engine light due to an alert for the Thermostat. I cleared it a few times as the Auto start does not work normal when the engine light is on. Then It seems the code alerted due to the radiator overfill bottle was not tightened. After this was tightened, the code has not alerted since, or the code tends to alert simply in colder weather (yet I was getting a code for the temperature was Low, which is odd). I am unsure the real cause, yet the meter clears the engine code which is mostly the reason I made this purchase. ... show more

Small but fully equipped for identifying codes and turning off warning lights. This is the second OBD2 I've had, the first (made by a different company) stopped working. This one is even better with more features and so easy to use. Great buy at a great price.
