Here's a breakdown of my experience with pros and cons: Pros: Dimming and Color Options: The ring light provides 5 color temperature settings and 10 brightness levels, which is fantastic for adjusting to different lighting conditions. Whether you're recording videos, doing makeup tutorials, or just need extra light, this is one of its standout features. Sturdy Tripod: The 62-inch tripod is quite stable and sturdy, extending from 24.8" to 62", which is a great range for different heights and angles. It offers solid support for the ring light and your phone, making it versatile for content creation and vlogging. Magnetic Phone Holder: The strong magnetic mount is convenient for attaching your phone. It’s especially useful for iPhone 12 and newer models with MagSafe. The metal plates included work well with other phone cases, ensuring a secure attachment. Wireless Remote: The included Bluetooth remote is a game-changer for taking photos or recording videos from a distance. It works seamlessly with both Android and iOS devices, and I really appreciated being able to shoot without needing someone else to help. I like this ring light tripod stand. The overall build quality is solid, and the three color temperature modes along with multiple brightness levels make it very versatile. The ring light is powered by a USB cord. The length of the cord is adequate, but in my setup, I needed to use a separate extension cable, especially when the tripod was fully extended. I use this setup both to improve lighting for video recording and as a secondary light source for my standing desk. At the lowest setting, the light is soft and dim, which works well for ambient lighting. The highest setting provides enough brightness to evenly illuminate a small space. The tripod is easy to adjust for height, and the locking clamp mechanism holds the selected position securely. It also includes an optional extension arm that can be used for alternate camera angles or to hold a microphone. The phone holder is adjustable for both tilt and rotation, and there is a one-quarter inch mounting screw on top of the phone holder for attaching other accessories. I found this to be a great value when it was on sale, but even at full price the features and flexibility make it a worthwhile purchase.
