You can use this to enhance even the cheaper strip whiteners but this is a game changer. You charge it, then it does not have to be plugged in during use and you do not have to watch a timer. It turns off after 30 minutes and you are not having to be plugged into the wall or a phone or a computer. I had one I used prior that plugged into my iphone but now iphone does not use a lightening cable and I had another that plugged into a USB cord but then my computer no longer has that. It changed to a USB-C...so I wound up tethered again. Because, once this is charged, you can walk about freely with it in your mouth, or even drive, you no longer have to worry about any of that. It works great for whitening and is the easiest one on the market and no more looking for weird round batteries for the battery powered as well! Those once wound up never shutting well after awhile of replacing the battery. Or I would not have that odd battery on hand and buying them made the whitener cost more. This solved it all. So well worth it.

I like these white stripes, they stick to your teeth when trying to get them off, but I guess that's good. They looked whiter after the application.

The packaging the strips are in is difficult to open. Once you apply the strips to your teeth it is extremely difficult to pull the strips from your teeth and most of the strip sticks to your teeth like gum. I'm surprised the FDA approved this.

I orginally had the whitening light with batteries from the older kit. I went to order refill gel and that's when I saw this newer light which is rechargable. Needless to say I went back and ordered this one. I really liked that I could buy it alone since I had already purchased gel for my older one. I think this one works much better. I can definitely see a difference after using just a couple of times. I can just imagine after using several times and being able to do it at home makes it even better! Oh and I almost forgot to add that this can be used with whitening gel or strips. That way you have options if you prefer one over the other. I would definitely give it a try if you are in need of a teeth whitening product.
