  • PERFECT beginner’s turntable
This is the PERFECT beginner’s turntable, this is the cheapest route to go and I’ll explain why. For starters, the suitcase record players are absolutely trash bc they hurt records, skip terribly, and sound terrible. While that is technically the cheapest option it’s a terrible one and a “rookie’s mistake”. I bought this turntable and got a pair of Edifer speakers and that was a full setup for only $320. While that may sound expensive that is as cheap as it gets, since this record player already has a headphones port you don’t have to buy an audio receiver/amplifier as long as you buy powered speakers with it (if you want speakers). A decent audio receiver/amplifier would be around $200, so buying this is dodging a huge bullet. Now for sound quality, this sounds great! While this isn’t audiophile grade sound it gives you the experience that listening to records should be giving (make sure you clean your records!). As I mentioned earlier suitcase records skip, in my experience (playing 50 records multiple times all the way through) I’ve only had 5 skips in total, and it was probably the record itself bc it was pretty worn. I say this to make the point that this will not cause skipping if the one you receive isn’t defective. HIGHLY recommend this product for beginners! ... show more

  • Excellent setup for folks just starting out
I'm new to vinyl, and frankly I was getting a bit overwhelmed with options and choices. After some research I figured out that I wanted something inexpensive (because I'm poor) with decent sound (otherwise what's the point?), relatively easy to setup and relocate (I move a lot), and configured for use with headphones (since I have roommates and listen to music while they sleep). I also wanted something I could easily upgrade over time. This ticked all of my boxes. It took about 5 minutes to set up and the sound quality is good enough that I can hear what audiophiles are talking about when they praise vinyl. The headphones are perfectly usable out of the box, but it's dead easy to upgrade them later if I want to. It also comes with cables so I can hook up speakers later if I decide to go that route. There are other, MUCH more expensive turntables out there (not to mention all the other equipment!). But this is an excellent value for folks who want to start listening to records without breaking the bank (and their brain) in the process. ... show more

  • First opinion..
I've only had it for a couple days but so far it seems to be great. (The headphones feel about as cheap as can be but actually do sound pretty good) I bought this record player to replace the cheap Jensen one I've had for the past few years. I know this isn't the best on the market by far but it has great sound when plugged into my receiver. If it holds up, I doubt I'll be upgrading it. I don't look at record collecting as a "hobby" as others call it, I have records for the nostalgia and the 80's look of my stereo so long as it keeps working as it does now, this player is perfect. ... show more

  • At lp60xhp
El tocadiscos está bien. No deja de ser básico pero si oye decente. Los auriculares aunque algo pequeños cumplen la función. El envío de usa a España muy rápido. Incluso antes de lo fijado. Cuando pagas extras por el transporte se nota. Bastante contento

  • Outstanding Quality at great price!
Love it! I have it on my desk next to me, with headphones on, listening while I work. Really great quality! Keep in mind, while this record player is great, if you use cheap headphones or cheap speakers with it, it'll obviously sound cheap. It sounds absolutely outstanding with my Sennheiser HD599'S and 598 headphones! Best they've sounded actually. The headphone amp in the LP player must pair well with it tonally or something. ... show more

  • Works perfectly
So this is my first turntable and it is working out perfectly for me. I had been thinking about getting into vinyl for a while and didn't want to spend a tremendous amount of money, so as a beginner this turntable is doing the job. Eventually though i'm certain i will be upgrading. So if your just starting out I would say that this turntable is perfect and a great deal. ... show more

  • Best value for an entry-level turn table
Simple, cheap, high quality playback for most vinyl. Only fast paced heavy music causes any skipping. The best you can get before jumping in price to an adjustable arm.

  • Sound and function terrible
The media could not be loaded. It played good when we first set it up and that night. The next day very bad static and skipped non stop. Changed the stylus, tried different records, tested the speakers we bought(edifiers) it wasn’t the speakers they sounded great for the price. Contacted the company who said to send a video, I did that they say they never got it, then asked me to send it to them in an email and in the middle of the sentence they wrote where their email should have been it said (email address removed). I tried to return and get the same thing thinking it was a fluke cause of the other reviews but they wouldn’t allow that. Trying to return and just get my money back, hopefully that happens faster and better than the rest of the experience, if they return the money. ... show more
