We were very puzzled and disappointed when we tried to assemble and install this lamp because it is a weird design where it appears that they didn't make a specific part for this lamp, but instead seem to have used the same part that they use in the larger diameter lamp (the lamp with the exposed bulbs) that they also make, rather than a part made specifically for this lamp. So basically the threaded rod is too short for this lamp, so you essentially have to expose the conductors in order to install this lamp. See my attached image to get an idea of what I am talking about. Also, watch their installation video on how to assemble/install this lamp, you won't see all of the steps because the part where you expose the conductors by unscrewing the threaded rod that they had previously just screwed in, is not visible. Please manufacturer, spend the money required to make and include the right part with this lamp! ... show more

So cute! I bought two of these to go inside the dormer over our girls’ built in desks. They’re still wrapped since construction is not complete yet, but the look and quality is great!
