    • Good enough to keep guns from children
First off, this is flimsy. The door is well made and solidly bult as well as the locking lugs. The rest is basically a metal file cabinet. Do not buy thinking you will thwart thieves. It won't. Maybe a delaying tactic until the prybar comes out or they rip out from your wall and carry it off. At this price point you wouldn't expect it to be. What it is good for is to secure your firearms from children. That is why I purchased it. The 3 star rating is not for the above, this is what I expected. No, it is for misrepresented information. When I purchased it showed and described it as having a light which came on when the door was opened. Mine did not. The description and model designation has changed for it now and when I contacted the company they feigned ignorance and told me to send pictures. Sure, pictures of something it did not have. Got tired of back and forth with them and dropped it. Not worth taking apart to return. Just had hoped they would send the light assembly so I could install myself. Well a stick up light will have to suffice. Also, extremely poor instructions. Not overly complicated but frustrating to have to remove and flip a section because of a hole which won't line up which can't be discovered until 5 steps later into the process. ... show more

Let me start by saying that for the money it serves its purpose. Now, the directions are pathetic and trying to program the push button entry codes is a joke. The directions it came with were for another programmable push button entry unit and not the one provided with my safe, so you are stuck with the default code and not able to enter your own - you are better off just using the key that comes with it. As I mentioned, the directions are a joke and thankfully assembly was not difficult for me to decipher. I feel sorry for someone that buys this safe but is not experienced enough to decode the half hardly prepared instructions. Now, once assembled it serves its purpose to store what you want. It is not rock solid but it works. If you want something more secure (e.g., children in the home, etc.) and fancy this may not be your choice. I purchased the larger unit and it does hold the weapons but if you have scopes and bipods mounted on the rifles and you want to safely store more that 5 with the mounts - this may not be your safe.     • It's good, but be prepared to get a little creative

For starters, everything in the box came with no damage. So, I was glad for that. This is not a safe, it's a cabinet that requires assembly of thin metal panels. This will likely keep kids out, but any criminals with tools could easily pry it open with enough time. I encountered a lot of what was mentioned in previous reviews though. A majority of the bottom holes were misaligned, so I had to file them down to not strip the hardware. Some of the tabs for the top panel were bent, but that was an easy fix with some pliers. You'll also need pliers for the tabs of the diagonal shelves on the side. After attempting to get them to mount for about 30 minutes, I decided to remove them because they kept popping off. The included LED is not bright at all so I installed a motion activated light inside. The instructions are a bit confusing as the photos are a bit vague and make many parts look similar, and no parts were labeled. The emergency keys feel solid and I haven't encountered any issues with them or the key pad. Lastly, the sides aren't airtight so if you're looking to put dehumidifiers inside, I'd recommend finding a way to seal it. Overall, I'm satisfied with it and it does what I need it to, but needed a few modifications to really work for me. ... show more

Atripark Rifle Gun Safe, Large Gun Safes for Home Rifle and Pistols, Quick Access Gun Safes for Rifles and Shotguns, Gun cabinets with Adjustable Pistol Rack, Pockets and Removable Shelf , purchased June 9, 2023. I purchased the 10 – 12 gun cabinet on June 9, 2023. This is a relatively inexpensive, lockable gun cabinet but not a gun safe. You have to assemble it and the directions are almost worthless and, in one case, wrong. If you have questions, there is no way you can contact the seller/manufacturer even via Amazon. You have to bolt the cabinet to the floor or wall (preferred) since the door is so heavy that when you open it, the cabinet leans forward and could potentially fall. Metal parts were only slightly damaged and it appeared to be a factory QA/QC situation and not a shipping situation. Initially plan on two people to help assemble the cabinet. It serves its purpose of organizing my guns and preventing children from having access to the guns/ammo. Assembling it was extremely frustrating. ... show more

This a review for the 10 - 12 gun cabinet. The cabinet was very well packed with Styrofoam and foam wrap. No damage at all. The steel is fairly heavy gauge steel. Four large locking pins. Came with 2 keys. Programming the lock is easy. Put in 4 AA batteries, press the red button and the keypad beeps. Put in your four digit code and press the # button. Done! This is a good cabinet to keep kids and others away from your guns. It will deter the "smash and grab" thief but not the determined thief. I knocked off a star for: > The instructions, while ok could be better. > The brackets with the foam barrel rests pop out when you move a gun. I'll be using some foam tape to keep them in place. > Not sure what guns were used to determine the 10 - 12 figure but I got 9 by leaning guns in the corners. > If it's advertised as holding a certain number of guns then there should be enough foam barrel rests. > It isn't a "safe" and isn't fire proof. Locking cabinet, yes. Fire proof, not really. Overall, if your looking for an affordable cabinet of good quality this is a good choice. ... show more
