Assembly was fairly easy. I would suggest to add instruction in addition to the diagrams. The size of the cabinet is as advertised. A couple of my longer guns prevents me from being able to install and use the shelf so I would suggest to make the cabinet about five inches taller. The cabinet is good quality and sturdy enough when secured to the wall. I like the options for opening by fingerprint, passcode, or key. I have been on the search for a new gun cabinet for awhile. This one definetly checks all the boxes. Its a great size for the price and it was super easy to assemble. It only took me about 30 mins directions where very clear and it was super easy setting the code and finger print reader. The door is very thick and heavy with several bolt locks that will def keep people out for sure. Its def built with quality and ease of use at mind. The 4 handgun pockets inside the door are very convinent and gets rid of the need of so many hard boxes laying around. I can have this cabinet open in the matter of seconds. It’s not a fire safe, there is nothing that suggest it is waterproof, it won’t keep any determined adult out. It’ll organize your stuff. It’ll keep kids away from the contents. If it goes together well, it’ll be what I paid for, nothing more nothing less. Some buyers have said it is difficult to assemble. I am 70 years old so know how to use a screwdriver, from the old days. Get yourself a real screwdriver, don’t bother with the one that came with it. Then you only need 3 more things: to be 3 foot tall, a contortionist, and an innate ability to quiet the little voice in your head that keeps screaming “WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK!” Some things are perhaps best purchased at a brick and mortar store where you can touch it. Very happy with this product. Comes fully assembled. Definitely not a “safe” but more of a lock box to keep items secure from kids etc. Has easy PIN code or key access. Note, because of its depth it won’t be completely flush with the wall and you’ll need approx 16” of swing clearance for the door to open. Takes about 30mins to install (if you’re handy). Bare in mind if you have a scope on you’re long guns it will only fit 2 long guns total because you will have to store them flat against the back wall. Yes i use it for a gun locker\safe and it more than does the job. This is NOT a safe but a cabinet and it is good and sturdy, solid door with fingerprint\combo and key access. Very good Customer Service, I did not receive instructions but i watched the video and was able to assemble in 45min by myself. I did have to contact CS for an assist with programing the combo\fingerprint, I got instructions the next day by email and within 10min everything was completed.
