The first night we hooked this up, I kept saying “just one more game” and somehow an hour disappeared. Seeing some of the games I played growing up was probably my favorite part, although my kids couldn’t care less about the nostalgia and immediately started digging through everything to find their own favorites. There are so many choices that we haven’t even come close to checking them all out. Setup was about as simple as I hoped. We connected the stick to the TV through HDMI, powered it up, and started playing without having to download a bunch of stuff first. The picture looks surprisingly good on a newer TV. Obviously these are retro games, but everything comes through clear and looks good on the bigger screen. The two wireless controllers are really convenient. We can sit comfortably across the room instead of pulling chairs closer to the TV, and so far the controls have felt responsive. They’re lightweight and comfortable, even after playing for a while. Having two included also means the kids can start a multiplayer game without arguing over one controller. I’m especially happy that games can be saved. I don’t remember having that luxury with some of these growing up, and I definitely don’t want to replay the same levels from the beginning every time. It’s not something that needs a bunch of setup or explaining—you turn it on, pick something, and play. That simplicity is probably why we keep going back to it. Tons of games, two controllers, and plenty of old-school fun make this little stick well worth it.

While tidying up my TV cabinet the other day, I came across this game console and thought I'd use it to play with my family in the evenings. Usually, after dinner, everyone's glued to their phones, rarely having the chance to sit down and do something together in the living room. Surprisingly, connecting it to the TV brought everyone together on the sofa. The games don't take long to learn; you can just pick up the controller and start playing. Even family members who don't usually play games quickly got the hang of it. What I like most is the wide variety of games, so I don't have to constantly switch devices. If someone wants an action game, or someone wants a simpler puzzle game, we can just switch to something else. The kids also love choosing games that interest them, and sometimes the whole family takes turns competing to see who can play the longest. Unlike many games nowadays that require a lot of time to learn the rules, playing for twenty minutes or half an hour is just right. The picture is very clear when connected to the TV, and the controls aren't particularly complicated. The first time I used it, it was basically just a matter of following the steps to connect the device, and afterwards, I just turn on the TV whenever I want to play. The console itself is small, so when I'm not using it, I store it next to the TV cabinet, so it doesn't take up much space. This is a really convenient option for people who already have a modern TV at home but occasionally want to play some classic games.

This retro gaming system has been a lot of fun to mess about with during family leisure and it’s been a fantastic way to bring some old-school gaming into the living room. The tiny stick shape is handy as it doesn’t take up much space around the TV, and it was quite quick to get everything connected. There are so many games featured, it took a while to look through the different menus to discover the ones which appealed to us. I especially liked finding familiar types of games that reminded me of what I used to play years ago. The two controllers also make it easy for two people to play at the same time, which has been fantastic for casual evenings with the family. The HDMI connection is an easy setup with the TV and choosing between games is easy after I got used to the interface. I enjoy that there is no complicated setup each time we wish to play. It’s become a pleasant little option for nits when we want something other than TV.

We have had a lot of fun with this vintage gaming console stick in our TV setup. I wanted something that was easy for the family to have fun with together, and I appreciate that this gadget provides us a range of classic-type games in one little container. Getting everything linked was simple. Once hooked into the TV and set up we were able to go through the game menu and choose what we wanted to play. There are 23 built-in emulators so there are lots of possibilities and we don’t wind up playing the same thing all the time. I like the little size, too. I appreciate gadgets that don’t take up much space, as we’re rather packed in our entertainment area now. When we’re finished, I can quickly put the console and controllers in a drawer. Great for family game nite. We take turns selecting games and occasionally I get to let the kids in on the basic retro-style games I grew up with. Thanks to its simple gameplay, you can sit down and play without a lengthy learning curve. I wouldn't expect the latest visuals from a vintage system but the old-school look is what makes it fun.

I connected it to the TV immediately after receiving it and started playing right away. The graphics have a distinctly retro feel, which actually evokes the feeling of playing games in front of the TV in the past it's really relaxing to play occasionally. There are plenty of games to choose from, so you don't need to prepare a bunch of game cartridges or discs; you can simply find the game you want in the menu. The controls are also very easy to learn; adults and children alike can quickly get started playing. It's great to play together after dinner in the evening. Using two controllers together is also very convenient; you can play against family or friends, instead of playing alone. The picture quality is quite clear when connected to the TV, and the overall setup isn't too complicated, which I'm very satisfied with. What I like most about it is the simple fun of gaming; you don't need to figure out much, just pick up the controller and play. While I'm not using it for the latest game effects, I think it's well worth it for casual entertainment.

I should have read the free review that called out this same thing but I figured they may have just had bad luck. This thing was DOA right out of the box. Plugged it into the hdmi port of the tv and the charge cord into the usb-a port of the tv. Nothing. Thought the usb-a port in my tv was dead so I bought an extension cord so I could plus the usb-a into my wall socket. Nothing. Controllers light up when you put batteries in them and frantically blink looking for something to connect to and… nothing. Not a review of a free product here, I paid 40$ for this paperweight. Roll the dice if you dare, but I came up snake eyes. Good luck fellow buyers.

I have to give this a neutral review because my review unit is completely dead. No combination of cables, USB ports, adaptors, and TVs got this thing to do anything. The LEDs will not light up no matter what. I can't even know what this ships with because the SD card can't be read by the computer without formatting it. There is basically zero info on the product page (not even a photo of the device) so I'm not even aware of what it's meant to emulate. The actual hardware seems better than average for the price. There are no blob chips and the build quality seems decent. The controllers are actually pretty decent, probably the best I've seen on a generic emulation console like this. They can actually be paired to other devices without issue since it includes a 2.4ghz adapter. I included pics of the board for the manufacturer to review and see if they spot anything. There are some vacant component spots near the USB in but that might be normal for this product. No clue, it doesn't do anything so I can't review anything else about it.

In the past, everyone would look at their mobile phones after dinner, but after this small host was connected to the TV, the children and adults all sat on the sofa. The operation of the controller is not complicated. People who come into contact with it for the first time can quickly understand how to play. Take turns to challenge a few games, and the living room will be very lively at once. There is quite a lot of optional content, including action and relatively easy puzzle levels, so you don’t have to change equipment back and forth. The picture can be seen clearly after being connected to the TV. The host is also small and can be placed directly next to the TV cabinet when not in use. It is suitable for taking it out for half an hour on weekends.
