Season after season, the 1900 Arctix Men's Essential Snow Pants serve as an outstanding value priced ski/snow pants and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. The adjustable waist ensures a comfortable fit, while boot snaps make them easy for on and off access over boots. Boot gaiters with grippers form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, a zippered fly, and belt loops. They are water and wind resistant, and are machine washable.

I bought these to go skiing in Mammoth and they're amazing! I purchased the 40W X 34L. Usually I wear a 14 in pants (Asos or LTS) and these were slightly large (sat directly at my hip bone). The adjustable waist was a great addition and when wearing leggings underneath (cuddl duds) they fit perfect. My inseam is 36 (above ankle bone) / 37 (at ankle bone) and these pants touched the floor with no shoes on. So warm I started sweating (55 degrees outside + 3 hours of skiing). I live in the state of Washington, less than 2 miles from the pacific ocean. It rarely gets very warm, even in summer. Although it also rarely snow's or freezes, I almost always feel cold. Constant wind is also pretty normal. I love to ride my recumbent adult trike. Last winter it was simply too cold. The first time I went riding with these arctix pants, I wore 32 degree tights under them. I was way too warm. Next time, I rode without the tights. Very comfortable. My wife likes to keep the house thermostat set about 67 or 68. I always feel cold. Now, I wear these pants, and feel quite comfortable. They almost feel like lounging pajamas. I like them so much, I bought a second pair. I pretty much plan on wearing these all winter and feel confident that I can ride my trike on all but the worst weather days. These were the perfect length. I'm 6'4" and have a 36" waist. They fit snugly over my jeans, and they fit perfectly on top of athletic wear while skiing. They've been on two major outings on the slopes in Colorado and have worked great both times. Finally got a day on the snow w these pants. I figured at the price point something would be unacceptable. But I didn’t have any issues w them. I don’t get cold normally so I can’t say if they really were warm, but the couple times I crashed out. I was dry. My only complaint and it didn’t cause any use issues, is the hook and loop for the location of where a button would be, the loops swivel freely so you just have to line the hooks up to go thru them. These are nice cheap snow pants. they do the job and so far no rips or problems with quality. My only issue with them really is they do not breath at all. I went from an expensive professional ski pair to these though so I may be a bit spoiled by my older ones. My old ones were water resistant but still allowed for some air. These are almost like wearing a trash bag over your legs. I will keep these for work and I think I will go back to a pro pair for play. ... show more
