The hood scoop is well made. Nothing cheap. Mounted up fairly easy. The only problem was getting the one small mounting bracket to line up with the holes for the bolt to screw in. I had to use a thick washer and longer screw to get the two holes lined up. Took about 20mins totally to install. The glossy black against the lightning blue paint looks awesome. Awesome fitment on my 2009 MINI Cooper Clubman S. Look more aggressive and makes the hood scoop functional. I would recommend ordering new clips because 9/10 you’ll break the old ones removing the OEM scoop.

I ended up having to get a new hood scoop after my stock one flew out while driving down the highway. My mini is a 2011, this scoop fits perfectly. I was a little unsure how the quality was going to be given it cost way less than other scoops I have come across. I'm feels sturdy and seems to be well made. It does give the car a bit of a more aggressive look, but is not overly big. It has been on the car for a couple weeks now and I've probably driven about 1000 Mike's with no issues. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it didn't come with any mounting hardware. I ordered the factory clips off Amazon as well and the scoop snapped into place with no issues. All in all it seems like this is a great product for the money ... show more

Have a 2009 S.... the original scoop was damaged by heat... common problem with age... actually came off the car when getting it washed... In comes Amazon to the rescue! ordered this, and scoop mounting kit... snapped right in place, finish securing from under the hood with a screw... Couldn't be happier. More aggressive looking that the original. My son is very pleased! ... show more

works great. good fit, easy install. i would recomend buying a set of hood scoop install hardware, sometimes the old ones are in preaty bad shape. 6 months later and 10k miles it holds up great, no sign of heat damage.

Fit my 2011 Mini Hardtop. However it didn't include the plastic mounting pins you'll need to attach it to the body of your vehicle. Had to spend another $20 at the Mini dealer. Additionally, the metal screws that are used to attach the pictured grill face to the scoop do not fit into their respective holes on the actual hood scoop. Using the 1st one caused the hood scoop screw hole to crack, so I re-used the originals from my old hood scoop, which did fit properly. Last, it's plastic...we'll see how it holds up after time. It has a different shape than the OEM hood scoop, but it does fit and looks pretty good upon installation. ... show more

Product comes with zero instructions and no mounting clips. You have to reuse the stock clips which hardly fit the scoop. Once you proceed forward you'll notice the screw that sits underneath the hood into the scoop isn't aligned properly either. Once finished you'll get to enjoy your lopsided scoop. ... show more
