I love this keyboard! Even though I'm using it with a Mac and I had to get an adapter to plug it into the Mac, I think it was worth it for how cool this keyboard looks, how comfortable it types and that it's totally plug and play, no software or driver to install. It's a standard DOS ASCII keyboard, meaning where a Mac has a Command key this has a WIN key, and where a Mac has an Option key this has an Alt key. The usual iOS shortcuts work for screenshotting and such. There's a subtle clack as keys are tapped but it's not unpleasant or noisy. Keys can be easily popped off and back on for cleaning and a cleaning brush is included. Seems well made with no rough edges, cracks or chipping. My only complaint is that the key text is applied with clear decals instead of being painted or embossed on, I worry the decals may come off with heavy use. Otherwise, a great buy! ... show more

Ok, I rarely write reviews, but this time I must! I purchased this keyboard for myself to replace a corporate-issued keyboard and my-oh-my has it been a game-changer for me! I'm a home-based employee whose corporate office issued a low-profile keyboard that has flat keys, microscopic function keys, along with a system lock key that sits directly above the hyphen on the numeric keypad - that I accidentally press multiple times a day, causing me to lose work because I have to log back into the system. Now that I have my new keyboard I am no longer a frustrated HBA! I LOVE this retro-style keyboard!! It allows me to type faster with less "fat finger syndrome", it's easy to see when the CAPS LOCK is on and the Function keys are not so little that I need a magnifying glass just to see which one I'm needing to hit! Plus, I don't accidentally lock my system when I use the dash/hyphen key on the top-right corner of the number pad. The feel of the keys is much like a typewriter (for those of us old enough to know what that is like) and I find that I type faster and with less typos now than when I use regular computer keyboards. It comes in lots of interesting colors - I chose the light blue with white keys because it goes with my office décor. Yes, I read reviews that said this keyboard doesn't last a super-long time (months vs years I suppose) but at this price point (less than $30), I won't mind having to replace it if it doesn't last for years. I LOVE the feeling, look, and sound of this keyboard. The color, font, and shape of the keys are aesthetically pleasing, plus it's an amazing value for the price. Feels like a marshmallow (or more like a pillow mint, y'know those soft yet slightly crunchy mints you get at some restaurants?) for your fingertips. However, and I've seen other reviews mention this, the space bar is very weird and harsh, clacky, and sharp-sounding compared to everything else. I'm not sure why, I don't know if this is a preference amongst others, but I don't particularly enjoy it. It knocks it down a star for me, tbh. I thought for the price I paid that I would receive something with defects or proof of poor construction, but getting it out of the box and using it proved me wrong pretty quickly. It's not a absolute silent click but it sure is quiet, the keys aren't high off the board making a very comfy setup for my hands and I appreciate the way they did the RGB version with the clean transparent sides and tops of the keys. I bought this because I wanted something that was not as loud as my mechanical keyboard. This has is a soft type keyboard . If you’re looking for that mechanical type of sound and feel, move on. There look is pretty, it feels nice but it’s soft. I wish it was a little louder when typing. I know some review videos seem like it is louder, but it’s just from the recording. I recorded myself typing and it sounds much louder than it actually is. ... show more
