The media could not be loaded. I love these boots! I really wanted to keep them as they are quite the impressive boot! I think the pair I got somehow the sizing was off. Both boots said 10 on them, but my right foot felt perfect and my left foot felt like I was squeezing it into a size 8. I tried stretching it in every way I could think of but nothing worked and my foot would be throbbing after stuffing it in there after only a minute or 2. After reaching out to the company for any advice they might have to stretch the smaller one as it DID say it was a size 10, they advised I return them which I did. BUT, I did order another pair and I'm praying for better results this time! They will be here this week, so I'm hoping both boots are truly a 10 and the last pair was just an error in manufacturing because I really do love them! I will update once I receive the new pair! ***EDIT/UPDATE: Changing my review to 5 stars since I received my new boots and am much happier with the fit! Both boots fit fine on the new replacement pair. I've waited to update the review as I wanted to actually wear them a few times 1st to see how the felt. They are quite comfortable even after all day wear and walking around quite a bit. I wore them for an all day into the night event where I was in the city walking around going from place to place and standing on my feet for long periods of time and at the end of the night my feet still felt fine! I've seen several reviews saying the boots looked used and worn, based on the distressed look and bottoms of the boot. In my opinion other reviews showing the boot bottoms as worn are just the way the boot is made and the leather of the boot with discolorations or scratched looking areas is because it is a distressed boot which is supposed to look that way and is advertised as such. I've attached a video to show comparison of my boots that have actually been worn and what the bottoms look like after and also so you can see up close what the discolorations and imperfections of this distressed boot look like which isn't always easy to see in the advertising photos. You can clearly see in my video what the bottoms of an actual worn pair of boots will or should look like, compared to some reviews showing a smooth clean boot bottom that is suspected to have been worn. I did not feel like the bottoms were super slippery the first time I wore them as other reviewers have found. Maybe if you were inside on carpet or slippery floors it might feel that way, but if you're wearing them out and about they definitely don't feel slippery. I also had a great personal experience with the seller who was super responsive when I had an issue with the first pair and I did not have to pay for shipping to return the original pair as they sent me a return label that covered shipping. I'm not sure why others had an issue with this, unless there are multiple sellers on here. This is a beautiful, well made, comfortable boot and I've received many compliments on them! The leather smells amazing right out of the box and I personally love the distressed look. I'm happy the size issue was resolved with the new pair and now I can say I definitely recommend! Just be aware if you purchase them that they WILL look distressed like it says in the description, and that includes the heels and bottoms of the boots, so if that isn't a look you particularly care for these boots more than likely wouldn't be for you. ... show more

I know quality. I recognize craftsmanship when I see it, feel it, and smell it. And yet—when I opened the box on these Ariat Dixon boots—they made me feel a way I genuinely wasn’t prepared for. The moment the box opened, I smelled it. Not just leather—craftsmanship, care, and quality. That rich, old-school smell that tells you instantly these were made the right way, by people who know exactly what they’re doing and didn’t cut corners. The leather is everything: Stiff in the right way Smooth, clean, and structured The kind of leather that holds its shape and ages beautifully The sole? Slick. Properly slick. If you know old-school Nancy boots, you know. That polished bottom that says these weren’t made to be disposable. This is craftsmanship, not trend-chasing. They are shockingly comfortable—but a quick note on sizing: because the leather is unbroken-in, you do need to go up half a size. I paid attention to the other review about the 1/2 size up. True to size. I wear an 8-8.5 in most shoes. Boots are a 39 or 8.5. but so many aren't true to size so it fluctuates. These are in deed an 8.5 I can wear nice size socks. They are adorable and good quality. I read the reviews and had my fingers crossed that the 8.5 would fit because they were out of 9s in the pink. And they are absolutely perfect. The heal height is perfect I didn't feel like I'm wearing heels. But they make me stand a little straighter. I did not experience any of the issues that others mentioned about the back digging in. Like any new shoe they need to be broken in so brace yourself. I have a feeling these will be my new daily shoes. ... show more

These boots were an incredible sale price and are just gorgeous. They look almost too pretty to wear. Ariat scores an A+ on style, color, and sale prices, and comfort. This Dixon is very popular for a reason, so when Ariat or your local trusted shoe store or Amazon puts them on sale, buy them.

Love these boots- have had for a year now. They hold up well. They do tend to stretch as most leather boots do. I bought the wide, as my foot is slightly wide- fit is comfortable and the look is hot!

These boots are nice but tight. They probably need to be broken in. The back of the boot rubs right away. You may get wear a band aid. I haven’t even worn them just walked around a little bit. I hope I can eventually wear them with comfort

    • Beautiful Boots Made In Mexico!

I am a cowboy boot junkie but one hard, non-negotiable rule I have is that my boots need to be made in either the USA or Mexico. I don't have any Ariate boots because it is not very clear where they are made. I just got these Powder Pink Dixon Western Boots and I am happy to report that stamped inside of the left boot I found what brought a smile to my face - "Made In Mexico". These boots are gorgeous. The leather, which smells amazing, is smooth pink with beautiful dark pink and white stitching. I am a hard 8 on my boot size and these boots fit perfectly. They do require a shoe horn (boot horn) to put them on because the leather is a bit stiff but I know that may change with a little wear. The bottoms are a bit slippery but that's a quick fix with a little wear, as well. The price of these boots is a real bargain for the quality of the product. ... show more
