  • Very decent product
At the beginning it was hard for me to get used to an ultran thin zenbook, after using it for a month I can say it was worth the money. You need to get a hub type C device to have more USB ports and card readers. The device is really fast though it has 8 RAM. Oled screen is nice. For $900 you get a decent device. If you have more budget I would recommend people to buy the same brand but a 14inch Oled ZenBook with 1 tB SSD and better batery life. Battery life for this 13 inchi Zenbook is juts 8 hours but if you use night light mode on, it lasts more than 10 hours. ... show more

  • Failed after less than 4 years of use
Started experiencing poor battery performance, freezing issues, and finally blue screen of death after 3-4 years. Thankfully was able to pull data/had backup information, but computer technician was unable to get anything running again - likely a motherboard failure. I had a Dell and Toshiba previously that never had issues for 5+ years and eventually just got a new laptop to upgrade/not because they failed. I would not recommend Asus - very disappointed. ... show more

  • This little thing has spoiled me
I love this little laptop. Its powerful enough for its size to run typical software, but I also loaded PGA Tour 2K21 and it works great! The OLED screen is beautiful and has completely ruined my work laptop experience that still has old technology. The lightup touch pad is also super cool. Asus really stepped up their game with this beauty. ... show more

  • really great for the price
The great things about the laptop is that its fast and powerful. But for me the screen is the best thing about it. On the bad side it overheats pretty easily and the battery lasts about 4-7 hours depends on what you are doing. The brightness of some keys are lower than the others on the keyboard. Overall really great laptop for students and productive work. ... show more

  • Nice little laptop
This is replacing a previous laptop with some hardware issue and slowness. I bought this little laptop for ease of mobility. It is a great little laptop but I do regret not having a touchscreen because it still offers tablet mode but no touchscreen so what is the point of tablet mode.

  • Better Options Out There
I purchased this laptop in 2021 for college because I needed a Windows device for my coursework. It performed well for the first year and a half, but over time, daily use began to wear it down. The repeated opening and closing, combined with frequent travel in my backpack, gradually took a toll on its build. Eventually, the battery life declined significantly, and the hinge that connects the screen to the base broke—a clear flaw in the design. The hinge is made of steel but is anchored to the laptop using small screws fastened into plastic, which ultimately gave out. This type of structural failure is difficult and costly to repair. Throughout my time using it, I put in countless hours, so I got solid mileage out of it. Still, if you’re a student or anyone who plans to frequently open and close the laptop or carry it around often, you may want to consider a more durable option. It has now reached a point where basic functions, like connecting to the internet, often require resetting network settings and restarting the device just to get online. On the upside, the laptop does have some great features. I appreciated the wide variety of ports, the Face ID login, and its excellent display quality. ... show more

  • Powerful, portable, and works great with Linux
The laptop is very light and compact, that's why I chose the model. Ubuntu 20.04 works excellent after upgrading to kernel 5.15 (this is important so the i7-1165G7 processor works appropriately). Appropriate for working or studying The metal chassis feels high-end, same for the buttons. Bright colors, and runs well 4K videos at 60 fps. No complaints so far, I would recommend. ... show more

  • Mine was a lemon
Did not last long. Touch pad went out, then the port for the mouse went out, and the second port went out too. Had to get a vivobook.
