Absolutely one of the best laptops I have ever used. The OLED display is the very first thing that you notice on first boot up. Amazing color, along with darker darks and brighter brights. The next thing you notice is how fast this computer loads. The Ryzen 9 CPU and 4060 GPU will be able to run most programs for several years from now. Amazing performance and reliability! What surprised me was how much thinner and lighter this computer is compared to “gaming” laptops with similar graphics cards installed. But it’s also durable, with me carrying around in a backpack almost daily. I have played a few games on here, with games like Cyberpunk, Destiny, and Starfield running on medium to high graphics with no fan noise or over heating. Only issue I’ve ever had was the occasional not waking up when left on hibernation mode for a while with the screen left open. But a simple force reset solves this issue! 100 percent recommend this laptop to any computer science student or anyone in the tech world! Edit: I bought the AMD Ryzen 9 with rtx 4060 version, which is not the one that is listed on here. I can’t speak for the i7 3060 model! ... show more

Needed it for video editing and while I haven't gotten to use it yet, I was recommended this laptop for this very reason. $1700, runs more like an outdated used windows 7. Power shuts off for no apparent reason while plugged, completely disregards the power settings. This particular model is known for powering off and in order to power it back up, you have to unplug the adapter and hold the power button down for at least 20 seconds and even then there is no guarantee it will power back up. Sometimes, it takes fove tries. AMD i9 processor speed isn't any faster than my former i7 intel on my lenovo. Intermittently disconnects Wifi, it's not the wifi service. The two tablets and phone I use are 3 - 6 yrs old and all are able to keep a solid connection to the internet as well as a 7 yr old chrome cast. I should have just gone with what I have been using and spent the 3k on a lenovo. Incredibly frustrating when I'm working and the power just randomly shuts down. ... show more

The weakest part of this laptop is the screen, it's FullHD but that is perfectly fine for me. I bought this back in November 2023 and have loved it since. The only complaint I have is the battery life is pretty weak unless you're doing minor tasks like reading, writing, or playing music which gives me about 7-8hrs on a full charge. If you want to utilize the maximum performance, you have to be tethered to the charger, but if you're just watching videos and doing other light tasks, you'll sit around 2-5hrs at most. These are minor complaints and inconveniences for me, and nothing beats the price with everything else included. I bought this without finding any reviews online. Here's my take. This laptop is light, thin and has great battery life with web browsing. It doesn't get too warm with day to day tasks, it can sit on your lap without cooking it which is something many gaming laptops can't do. It charges over usb-c and the 150w power brick (not usb-c) is small. Overall performance is great for the size. Updated Review: Turning off "Smooth edges of images and text" In Windows made a difference in text readability. But the screen is the weakest part. It's "okay." Just bright enough but I wish it was brighter. It's rated at 250 nits (though it feels a bit brighter), at 1920x1080, 45% ntsc. Colors are good enough but aren't amazing. Viewing angles are okay. It's decent and usable, not horrible but I expect better. If you come a laptop with a great screen this will be a noticeable step down. I did get used to it over time but there were times when I was in a bright room that I wished the laptop was just a bit brighter. Response time is fine. The 4060 doesn't have a mux switch and is capped at 80w. Performance was more inline with a higher powered 4050 out of the box. With tweaking you can get it to low-end 4060 levels. ... show more

Computer function works fine but if you leave it plugged in when you go to open it takes a long time to turn on don't know why. You have a blank screen like the battery is dead even though it's plugged into the outlet.
