I was looking for a basic, everyday browsing online laptop and this fits the bill perfectly. Purchased for $380. If it was any more expensive, I would probably skip it. For the price, it provides great value. From start up to web browser, it was under 10 seconds. Specifics: I am very particular when it comes to keyboard and touch pad. This has been a great laptop to just type on! The touch pad is decent enough to not mind. Battery life was an important factor for me. Considering that I only use this for browsing online, etc. it has given at least 4 hours of constant browsing. A lot of reviewing mentioned battery as a concern or issue, but it varies significantly depending on your use case. Sound quality is what you would expect from a lower priced laptop. I am not an audiophile, but the sound will suffice. Doesn't sound great obviously but gets the job. Overall, I believe this is a great starter laptop with fast performance, high build quality, and strong everyday performer. Important note: This laptop was easy to open with the right tools (iFix It Laptop Kit) and I upgraded the memory with an 8GB DDR 3200Mhz CL22 stick. The screen is absolutely beautiful. 5 stars for that, zero for everything else. The keyboard is disappointing, and the plastic is an awful finger magnet. And I mean awful. I generally do not complain about such things, but this just looks as if I touched it with oil-dipped hands. Additionally, there are holes at the back of the laptop, for cooling, I assume. Seriously? On a laptop? I had a 17 inch laptop of this thickness in 2009 and it did not need holes for proper cooling. Holes, on a portable device, who came up with this? And it is SLOW! I have an ASUS Vivobook Go L210 with Intel Celeron N4020 and 4GB RAM so I had certain expectations for quality and speed when tripling the cost. I was so happy with the 11 incher. Highly disappointed in this one. FYI for Linux users, the wifi chip needs replacing. Not docking points for this, as it is not unusual, and I have a spare one around. The removal of the back is super easy so no biggie. Just an FYI for some Linux peeps trying to find the chip info. Attached are images of the exposed motherboard for all the liquids that might accidentally open in your backpack and the finger disgust. ... show more

The performance is great for the price point of 380 dollars. It's good for light gaming. I was able to play most games on low or medium settings with decent fps. My only issue with the laptop is that the battery life is shorter than I expected, and the material the laptop is made out of smudges very easily, like any time you touch it with your hands, so make sure to keep a cloth handy. ... show more
