My wife and I have bought two iterations of these. They both work very well for office work and for light gaming. Well, I say light gaming, but I can still play Cities:Skylines, Minecraft, Skyrim, and all my other games on it with really good settings. I don't play first person shooters, so I can't say much about that. I use mine primarily for Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design. It takes a while to render high quality, reallllly large images sometimes, but that is forgivable since I'm not strapped to a desk. The battery life isn't great, but for my heavy duty uses I always leave it plugged in. I have a battery pack for use on the road. They reboot quickly and have enough storage for our needs as well. It is not touch screen so I don't know why it gave me a rating for that? There is ONE and only one con and it's an annoying one, but first the pros. I am in school for computer programming. It keeps up and I even play fall guys on it, but the one thing I want to point out and that I'm VERY impressed with the durability. This thing has been bent backwards, dropped lord knows how many times, the plastic at the bottom of the screen is broke... I mean two kids really did some damage, but it works. Works like it did on day one, screen is totally fine. Buttons still work even though I've had a lot of coffee spilled on this thing. I mean, for the price I paid ABSOLUTELY HANDS DOWN the best purchase I've made. (I've made a lot of purchases... any big ones... usually turn out crappy so I'm highly impressed.) HOWEVER!!!! KEEP UP ON UPDATES!!!! If you don't then you'll run into the problem i've had... can't update without wifi, but can't connect to wifi because it's not updated... Seems pretty silly and it's very annoying. Just restart the laptop (may have to a few times) and eventually it'll allow you to connect, but I've had a few moments where I had to walk away from it. Overall, for computer programming and gaming... i'm really happy with it. It has decent storage. A years worth of work and tons of games... I'm fairly impressed and I do recommend this laptop to anyone who needs a recommendation. :) ... show more

When you tilt the screen, it becomes impossible to see text and the colors are a mess. The viewing angle is so minimal you have to be dead straight looking at it for anything to look right. Any angle from above or below makes the laptop useless. I would not recommend buying this laptop for anyone. I only purchased it for light use and I am still very disappointed. ... show more

Buen producto. Regalo para mi esposa para su trabajo en casa. Lástima que a la pantalla, a pesar de ser 1080p le falte mucho brillo en los colores. Realmente no puedo decir que los colores sean "vibrantes"... son más bien opacos para ser FHD.

After researching many models for my next laptop I settled on this one and glad I did. Sound is excellent, screen looks crisp. I added 16GB of ram and with my new high-speed internet this thing is smoking fast. Mind you, I do not use this to do lots of tasks at once... really only internet browsing and watching videos. It is very capable of so much more. I got a nice price on amazon and couldn't be happier with the device. It should last me for years. update 3-14-24: Really liked this laptop until it died suddenly and without warning. Great screen resolution and backlit keyboard, juiced it up with the max memory and all was good until one day after closing the lid and coming back a couple of hours later... nothing. Dead lump of electronics and no indication of what had happened. Took it the repair store hoping for an inexpensive fix. Wrong! Crashed motherboard and would cost as much to fix it as the purchase price. Whoa!! As a school librarian I've managed hundreds of laptops that were far less robust than this thing and most keep on trucking with heavy use for years without problem. Any computer can fail at any given time but getting one year out of a $650 laptop is really disappointing! BTW... the only thing the laptop was used for was internet shopping and news so no heavy use to justify a crash like this. I loved it until I didn't. Went with a Levovo this time and hoping for better results in the long run. ... show more
