I purchased this new Asus laptop last month (Jan 2021). After using it less than 3 weeks, it has crashed and is no longer powering up. Not sure whether seller or the manufacturer holds the warranty for this product.

The Good: Speed The Okay: The pen/stylus The Bad-ish: Updates Maybe it has just been a while since I have bought a Windows laptop (Chromebook user since 2014), but I figured that everything would be perfect and ready to go right out of the box. Sure there were the typical updates the first day; I checked the Windows updates and got everything the first day, restarted, everything was great. On the second day, I had Chrome and Zoom open and the screen started to go in and out of focus, blurring and sharpening, off and on, non-stop. I restarted the laptop and had no issues like that afterwards. Amazon support said that it might have been a screen driver being updated or something. I have never come across this issue with any previous laptops, but hopefully that is all that it was. I will update this review if any other weird issues come up. The only thing that I could suggest for an improvement is the pen. If there was a way to insert the pen into the laptop for safe-keeping, that would be ideal. I do like that it sticks to the keyboard or lid when I do not need it... the next best thing I guess. The performance of the pen is okay. I am unable to just place the tip on the screen and slide it; I have to put a bit of pressure in order for the screen to recognize that I want to draw or click something. One thing that the laptop does well is speed. The SSD and Windows Hello allows it to start up and log in about 5 seconds. Overall a great laptop. Thanks for reading ... show more

I bought the laptop on October 19, 2020 and less than 6 weeks later, on November 30, it hung 4 times today. The problem started surfacing a few days after I bought it and I didn't think much about it. A few days later, I resetted the laptop, thinking that would solve the problem. But today's problem (of hanging 4 times) was the last straw! ... show more

I’m a high school student and this comp is great for doing school work. It’s very portable, the thinness and the size are just perfect for me. The main problem is the pen, it took a while for me to get used to it and sometimes it could be really uncomfy to write with it. I LOVE THE FACE ID !!! it took just seconds to unlock the screen (My old macbook took way longer than that). The tablet mode or touch screen is pretty sensitive and the price for this is just way too expensive, but overall it’s great to use and worth it !!!! ... show more
