I've had this for about 4 months , and I've not a chirping noise coming from the fan area . Others state it is a capacitor issue or fan issue ... Hopefully it's nothing serious... This is a beast of a unit for my setup I9 99k and 4070ti super by ASUS

Great power supply, the fan is very quiet also. Comes with plenty of cables for a medium to high end gaming machine. Used in a Tuf Gaming Horizon case, it tucks away nicely in the rear and the cables stay hidden nicely.

Pros: 10 year warranty (Asus registration req) Single, braided cables Small form factor for 1000 watt GOLD rated PSU Japanese capacitors Cons: Extremely loud when under full load (70%+) I really like this PSU from Asus. It has all the key features you'd expect from a high end PSU. My only gripe is that when you run up the wattage, the PSU fan runs full blast like a jet engine. It really is LOUD - let me reiterate this again. -it is really, really LOUD. Most PC users only use little to moderate wattage but I run multiple RAID setup, 3 monitors and use a Radeon 7900 XTX.
