Excellent gaming performance via STEAM CS:GO Fans spool up to a loud state while gaming to keep GPU & CPU cool System opens via normal Philips 000 screws of the bottom plate, exposing the logic board & 45 WH lipo battery Once inside the machine you will find an extra space for a second M.2 NVMe drive, a second RAM slot open for upgrading easily & even a full SSD slot for adding an SSD to the machine! Excellent 17inch 144hz screen dims nicely & has many color modes including low blue night modes Sound most excellent from two vibration isolated (rubber grommet mount) speakers inside that produce excellent volumes levels & surprising base output for their size & design, utilizing some kind of volume optimized acoustically tuned housing to enhance the speakers output & dynamic range. Power brick gets really warm when system running full playing video games Build quality seems really good, including the heatpipe to heatsink fin cooling system on the left & right rear that blows hot air out the back of the unit near the base of where the display connects to the keyboard case. It is an extremely fast laptop. Boot up time is mere seconds. It automatically switches graphics when starting a game - that takes a couple seconds. I have had few problems. Like any computer you need to learn about it and you can customize your screens, etc., however you like them. I preferred the older style of File Explorer. I don't like some of the windows apps, but I can disable or remove them. Those are software things. The hardware is working great! By the way, the speakers are not very loud. I use a headset for somethings, or I can use a blue tooth speaker to listen to things farther away. Older computers had much more control over the audio, but that problem has been going on for years. ... show more

I do not use this computer for gaming. I only use it for trading stocks, watching YouTube videos and occasionally browsing and uploading movies. The battery life is horrible! As for the sound…. I watch a lot of YouTube videos about stocks. The sound is VERY low. I have all sound cranked up to 100 and it’s STILL low! I would say this is NOT good for gamers. La compré para uso personal, actualmente la uso para jugar y al mismo tiempo para el trabajo, uso programas de edición de videos, arquitectura, renderizado y algunas cosas, la verdad no me ha defraudado ni en la calidad de mis trabajos como en el rendimiento de mis juegos, la he usado en fortnite, rocket league y en League Of Legends, sé que no son los juegos de mayor demanda gráfica pero al menos a mi me ha servido incluso más de lo esperado por el precio que la compré. Me gusta que sea ligera, en verdad es muy ligera para ser una PC gamer, la puedo llevar sin problemas a donde quiera y siempre me rinde, lo único que he visto, obviamente por la condición de laptop, es que en juegos no te durará mucho si la usas con batería, con esta PC sí o sí tienes que jugar conectada al enchufe si quieres el mejor rendimiento en juegos y también en aplicaciones y programas de trabajo como los que yo uso. En general es una buena PC para trabajar y jugar en ratos libres, para mi opinión totalmente se merece 5 estrellas debido a tan buena calidad a un precio totalmente asequible. En mi caso cuando me llegó le agregué un módulo adicional de memoria RAM de 8GB, no es que las necesite, sólo que por las condiciones de mi trabajo y la investigación yo suelo usar muchas pestañas de Google Chrome abiertas, y como es de esperar eso consume mucha memoria RAM mas todos los programas que tengo abiertos, entonces para mantener la fluidez de mi trabajo decidí aumentar la RAM, pero si la vas a usar sólo para jugar es más que suficiente con lo que viene. I heavily used many different laptops over the past 20 or so years for work and personal use. They weren't subjected to much abuse, just moved place to place, but would inevitably fall apart. Laptops I've owned in the past 10 years or so suffered from various build quality or design issues. They all had a weak spot. For some it was the DC power in port. Eventually the port would separate from the board and lose the wire connection. For others it was the hinge. I'm pleased with the build quality, and materials used for this laptop. The DC power in seems pretty rugged. The hinge is really stout. The case material seems durable. Also the laptop is setup so it is easy to upgrade, and presumably service if something does go wrong. If you're tired of janky laptop construction, this is probably a good choice. ... show more
