Just after the return period expired, the buttons on the mouse pad started malfunctioning, making it virtually impossible to use. Couple of times it's frozen requiring a hard restart to recover. TLDR: it’s a gamble, $130 restock charge after I needed a refund because the first one they sent didn’t work. The second one at least passes all system diagnostics. But I still ended up spending extra money for absolutely nothing. The product is amazing, I had to buy it twice though before I got one that worked. The first one had a bad battery straight out of the box. It wouldn’t turn on without being on the charger and the moment the cord came out it would die. System diagnostics and ASUS tech support said the battery was the issue and needed to be replaced. There was no option to return it only to request a refund. I ended up being charged $130 because the first laptop they sent me was didn’t work. Charged because they sent me a defective product, what’s worse I could have bought the replacement part and paid for installation for less than the restock fee. ... show more
