I was looking for a budget laptop for both blogging & gaming & the ASUS TUF (2019) Gaming Laptop is perfect for my needs. It runs the games I play regularly, WoW & The Sims 4 on ultra settings without issues. However, I do recommend an external hard drive or upgrading the hard drive. I opted for a 2 TB external HD as WoW & The Sims 4 with all expansions are pretty large. Battery life seems decent as I was once playing WoW & didn't realize that my laptop wasn't fully plugged in for quite & while & was still at 80%. This isn't going to play Cyberpunk or brand new games on ultra-high settings, but for a laptop that is under $1k, it is a decent gaming laptop. ... show more

Laptop has a bright, high definition screen and great refresh rate. It's good for gaming especially FPS and watching videos. The laptop speakers are okay, sounds are definitely better with headsets. I use this for school and casual gaming.

When i first got the laptop it was fast. I had issues with the operating system, apparently I received a corrupt OS. After reinstalling windows which is no problem at all fast and easy process I'm back to normal. Overall a very fast laptop. Gaming: I can run Metro Exodus on high settings WOW no problem. Honestly, there is really not a game that you cant play on high settings and get a decent frame rate plus the screen makes the games look AWSOME. Also the fans get loud to keep the beast cool, but who cares if your buying this for gaming your going to have either headphones or a headset so that doesnt really matter to me. BUT do yourself a favor and get another stick of RAM to unlock the potential of this computer, because the laptop is gimped by that one stick of DDR4. General Use: I mean it has a sdd lets be honest its quick in doing anything browsing the web and those sorts of things. OVERALL: Would i buy again? Yes i believe if you have any sorts of knowledge about computers your going to buy this and be able to fix any problems you come across. Its a powerful computer that's portable for gamer's. My wife uses this for her real estate instead of gaming but the Chroma RGB keyboard and the extreme graphics make it fun and easy to view photos for her clients. My son can't wait to inherit it so he can play high quality games as well. Full recommendation on this great laptop.

I had high hopes about this laptop, as I saw that it was well rated and ASUS is a dependable brand. However, within three months, the hard drive failed completely with without warning from the SMART system, and I lost everything on it. At that point, I reached out to Snow Bell for a refund for the cost of the hard drive, which they quickly got back to me about and everything was great. Since then, I've just had a world of problems with this laptop. The system device and display drivers kept failing, making my HDMI port unusable. Several of my keys are discolored or partially burnt out. The function allowing me to change my fan speed didn't work any longer than the first day I used it. The track pad, as some other users have complained about, is slow to respond and often rebellious against what you actually want it to do. The screen flickers like a candle when the brightness is anything but 100% when it's running on battery, and the fan on the left side rattles loudly if the laptop is anything but perfectly level. Of course, I reached out to Snow Bell again, but where their customer service got back to me in a matter of hours before, it's been days and they seem to be nowhere to be found. Even Amazon failed to connect me to their customer service call center. Maybe I just got a dud, but I'm thanking my past self for purchasing a warranty, as that seems to be my only option for this lemon now. ... show more

My husband loves his laptop he doesn’t play hardcore games that require crazy amounts of graphics so this laptop runs every game he plays smoothly and also browsing the web and watching videos is so fast. The SSD on this laptop is very fast the computer turns on super fast.

Don’t be fooled by the specs, even though the screen is 120hz the laptop does not manage to get frame rates higher than 90, tried a few games already... highest FPS possible on league of legends is 90, same with cs:go With that being said the 120hz screen is extremely useless.

Do yourself a favor and buy one more stick of ram. This machine is a beast. The fact that I can play Cities skylines AND No man's sky without a drop im framerate speaks for itself.
