The media could not be loaded. What the title says. It works great, I can run phasmophobia, subnautica, etc etc on highest settings. Could almost certainly play more intensive games on slightly lower settings but I haven’t tried cause I use my desktop for those. It does get hot and the fans get loud, but this really is normal for gaming laptops. The computer is HEAVY as well so be warned. Again, it’s to be expected with the large screen and being a gaming laptop (they are always heavier) so not taking points off. Minor gripes would be like, the charging port is in the middle of the side instead of by the screen which is weird or that some of the keys get warm in the middle but honestly, not a big deal overall. It’s good if you really are looking for a gaming laptop. Not worth it for basic school/work stuff or only playing like, stardew valley or something though! ... show more

Laptop works wonderfully. Upon registering with ASUS though I received an email stating that the warranty registration was outside the 60 day purchase window and would not be honored. I reached out and they believed the serial to be related to a purchase made from Best Buy? I sent the serial number photo and my purchase receipt to them for further investigation. Awaiting to hear back what changes if any they grant me. I still love my laptop but that year warranty is pretty important, in my opinion. ... show more

    • Getting stuttering and constant High CPU usage when downloading games and playing a game

Its a ok laptop, mine came with single channel 32gb ram, and not dual, I get more CPU Usage now, and the GPU is meh, it really needs more VRAM, 12gb at the minimum it has 8gb, I get a lot of stuttering, so not the greatest laptop, it feels like a flop in a way.

    • SSD failed in less than four months with awful customer service from PCOnline US

Had to be sent to ASUS on an RMA less than four months after purchase. ASUS found that the SSD had failed and considered it a 3rd part accessory due it it being installed by PCOnline US. ASUS offered to replace SSD with a 512GB SSD but was not able to replace with a 1TB equivalent to the one it came with from PCOnline US. I reached out to PCOnline US customer service to see if they would replace SSD. I had to explain the status of my laptop and RMA to PCOnline US's customer service several times. PCOnline US customer service stated it came with a 1 year warranty but stopped responding when asked what the next steps would be to have that warranty honored. ... show more
