I'll admit that I thought this PC was too good to be true: amazing price as well as extremely good specs. The other reviews would have you believe this was doubly the case: poor packaging would lead to a PC that was dead on arrival. I have to say my experience was anything but that. Admittedly, I did see the UPS driver straight-up drop the box, and the box with the laptop is packaged inside a box that's much bigger such that rocking around definitely happened. However, all that said, the laptop arrived in working condition. I checked the specs upon setting up, and everything is as advertised. I don't game as much as I used to, but it's good to know I have a machine that's ready to go full blast when needed. In the short time that I did do some gaming, I have to say that everything ran smoothly, and heat is a total non-issue. Admittedly, the fan can be kind of loud if you're in a very quiet space, but nothing too crazy. I don't have the display lit up, but it is very pleasing to the eye if you're into that kind of thing. It used to be that you needed a laughably large chassis to support such a powerful CPU/GPU, but we've come a long way tech-wise. As such, this 15'' laptop is much more compact than my previous 17'' one. Would definitely purchase again if I had any need to. ... show more

I’ve been using this laptop for a year now, and I have not had one single issue with it. I play a multitude of different MMORPG and FPS games and every one of them has run flawlessly. I play multiple nights a week. It is a very sturdy laptop and the battery life is surprisingly good. It has all kinds of customization options and it has a great feel to the keyboard. This is the worst packaging i have ever seen my entire life. Computer box placed inside a much bigger box with nothing else. It was probably hitting left and right all all the way. One of the seals was also broken but there was another one that was not broken. When booted what I saw first was 3 error messages saying some images dont work on windows. I didn't think it would be a problem because they are just some images nothing related to performance or any important stuff. After using it for about half an hour decided to restart the computer and it didn't start. All there was a black screen and me staring at my brand new computer failing to boot. I haven't even downloaded a single thing, but no this is just unacceptable from a brand new computer. I am returning this ASAP. Started my return process less than 2 hours after receiving. I am not one for new tech so I was very selective, and I settled on this ASUS vs Razor. I am into RGB setups, the power this laptop has is quite impressive. I play Diablo 4 on it without a stutter or an overheat. The graphics are have great true rich color and the options it offers are endless. I recommend this laptop for beginners to masters! It’s still missing some of the key features us gamers want. Like getting rid of that dumb touchpad hybrid thing they implemented into the new versions. Very buggy Where did the camera go, I can’t remember last time I’ve seen Asus’s aurous line have one. Still has everything like great screen and keyboard but no camera… Bad graphics implementation with built in Radeon graphics. Computer can get confused and will if you got a bigger display or more then one of them. Mainly nvidia could control that all but radeon also controls some of the laptop as well, so more settings to adjust besides Nvidia Besides that all, Laptop runs good. Fans are quiet. Auto fan curve is good enough The rtx packs a punch in games that use them ... show more
