The function is great!!!! It is as my expectation. However, FYI, there will not be a plug-in thunderbolt ports available when open the box, as specification from the manufacturer, you will have to buy a separate thunderbolt ex card and plug it in suitable TB_header. It has plug-in HDMI and DP ports for integrated GPU, lots of USB ports ( with 2 fast type C ports). Be aware from the specification that the PCIE 5 for 50 series, if you have SSD in M2_1 bracket, it will only run as x8 instead of x16 ... show more

Very Poor Quality. To be honest, I cannot believe that I have to write such a terrible review of an AZUS motherboard. Used to be my Go To Motherboard. I purchased this board (Asus MB ROG STRIX Z790-F Gaming WIFI) on April 28, 2024. It is April 22, 2005. The board did not last a year. This is the third motherboard from ASUS of the ROG line that has gone flaky on me. The issue is with the USB ports. I use external drives all the time. The drives just drop off line randomly. Starts of as being a few days dropping down to a matter of minutes after reconnecting. To ensure it was the MB and not my equipment, I not only replace the docking station & Drives but tried it on another machine and it works fine. I isolated the issue to the ports on the MB. Since all the ports do the same thing, this is a controller most likely. Since Hard Drives is where all my data is, this is the most critical part of computing. DATA. If your data is not safe, you may as well not have a computer. This is unacceptable poor quality. Contacted ASUS for warranty. Very poor service. They only offer Repair which takes 7-10 days. Also, unacceptable as I would be without it for that long. Not a workable situation if you work from home. So, to sum up, Multiple motherboards with same issue, Poor Quality, Poor Customer Service. Looks like I am on the hunt for a different brand of Motherboard. ... show more
