  • What i hoped for and not looking back!
Size: ROG X570-F|DDR4|WiFi Style: ROG X570-F|DDR4|WiFi
I run a Ryzen 3700x - 16GB G.Skill 3600mhz - Asus Strix 2070 - Corsair H115i Pro RGB on Windows 10 Pro . I upgraded to the Strix-F Gaming from the Crosshair Vii Hero (non wifi). My hopes were that 1. I didn't have to reinstall windows 10, just swap mobos and boot up, let the devices detect and get rollin. I did just that, didn't have to reinstall windows, everything was detected no problems and went on as if nothing happened. Note: I did do a fresh install just for my own peace of mind. 2. That my DRAM would be able to run at the timings they are supposed to run at. I was running my 3600mhz ram at 3200mhz with weird timings of 22-22-22-22-(##), could not change anything, latest bios of 2501 x64, it was a no-go on anything higher than 3200. installed my ram in this Strix-F and bam, 3600mhz @ 16-16-16-16-36 no problems. 3. That my Corsair AIO would be detected in iCUE, it was! On the CH7 Hero it would never be detected by the iCUE software, the cooler worked obviously but I had no control over anything, now I have full control which is great. I thought that since I was still plugging the usb cable into the usb 2 internal port that it still wouldn't be detected (researched revealed that plugging the unit into a usb 3 internal port fixed the non detection issue, but I didn't and don't have an extra internal usb 3 header available) But, it works now. Overall I couldn't be happier about this mobo, it got me out of my problems with the CH7 Hero completely. It runs everything cool, it looks amazing as most ASUS boards do. For an x570 board it is right in the middle of the price range, 140$-700$ for new x570 boards...some being badly designed but still offering x570 and some being built with every feature in mind for every scenario. I think what I have found is the perfect point in the x570 offerings. I recommend this board for anyone is spending in this price range and anyone wanting a future proof board at a reasonable price considering other options. I chose this over the MSI MPG x570, something about reading how the build quality wasn't what people expected had me rethink that option, and I am glad I did. ... show more

  • Amazing MoBo, easily set up
Size: ROG X570-F|DDR4|WiFi Style: ROG X570-F|DDR4|WiFi
So good it made me switch from laptop gaming for 10+year to desktop gaming. Plus it looks amazing. Update 07/6/20 : Still going strong. No issues whatsoever. Very sturdy made, alot of space on the board to fit everything. Worked perfectly with all my bought parts, CPU-Ryzen 3800x works with this board. ... show more

The motherboard is great, and "IF" your experienced at installing MOBO's yourself great. This is an awesome MOBO. HOWEVER, if your counting on the manual in the box to figure out where things go, and/or have never done a MOBO install before, find something with better documentation as the English equivalent to this manual is for a slightly different MOBO. You CAN figure it out, if you have the knowledge and the writing on the MOBO itself is in English, if you can read the ultra tiny print in the shadow of your PC box and wires. • Be patient
Size: ROG X570-F|DDR4|WiFi Style: ROG X570-F|DDR4|WiFi
Cons: -At first my mobo would not get past POST no matter what I did. So I took every component off one by one to find the issue; nothing. I plugged different RAMs and PSUs; nothing. As I began to fear the worst, I remembered the box came with jumper cables for the battery; it worked! Such a basic thing to do but since it's not common, many forget. -AURA and Armoury were a pain to fix after it would not work initially. Apparently AURA makes weird copies of itself and causes Armoury to not work properly. Just delete copies manually from folder. Pros: -looks cool af once you fix the little AURA issues -fast response with the other hardware and no issue with gaming. -USB 3.0 headers were surprisingly smooth to plug in. -once you get all the software that comes with it to work, it's actually very useful. -EZ overclocking in BIOS. -EZ BIOS setup. -Ai Suite 3 is fun to use if you don't like going to BIOS for settings. ... show more

  • Arrived on time
Size: ROG X570-F|DDR4|WiFi Style: ROG X570-F|DDR4|WiFi
The price on this Motherboard is a bit high, when you consider that the X570-E has additional features at the same price, and also comes with a digital troubleshooting display (the X570-F uses a LED display, which isn't as specific). The x570-E also has a built in wireless card. I really think the only reason to purchase the X570-F card, is because the X570-E can be a bit more challenging to find in stock. Overall, still an aesthetically pleasing motherboard, with nice feature, plenty of fan plug support, and 2 really solid PCIE connectors. ... show more

  • Excellent board, just one small issue
Size: ROG X570-F|DDR4|WiFi Style: ROG X570-F|DDR4|WiFi
I love the board, looks great, runs solid with my Ryzen 3800X and Trident Neo 3600 RAM kit. I only have 1 issue with the board, the PCI-E x16 slots aren't holding large GPUs up very well and the PCI-E x16 latch is partially plastic and difficult to work with. It's not a big deal, the GPU is holding up, it's just sagging more than it did with my first generation Ryzen Asus Prime Pro board. I've ordered a graphics card brace to compensate for the problem, but for this reason I've knocked off some stars for value, it's an expensive board and I expect these PCI-E x16 slots to be solid for that price. ... show more

  • Had to Flash bios for 5000 series Ryzen CPU but was very easy
Size: ROG X570-F|DDR4|WiFi Style: ROG X570-F|DDR4|WiFi
No problem with board everything works great and was easy to install. This was a big upgrade for me .I was still rocking a FX 8350 CPU lol. I was kinda sceptical about buying this because alot of reviews say the board came DOA. I feel like ppl are really dumb or do something to kill the board or brick it trying to Flash the bios ,IDk . But I've built 5 or 6 PC's and have never had any dead hardware. Either from Amazon/Newegg or wherever I shop . ... show more

Previously I had Z370-H for an Intel CPU, never gave me a day of trouble. I now have the X570-F for my AMD 3900X, don't need the WiFi it has a direct connection. I like the Strix build quality as well as the available features. The integrated I/O Shield was a welcome relief, no more pricking my fingers while trying to get the damn thing seated. M.2 Head Shield was easy to install and overall look forward to many years with this one as I had my old one. ... show more
