  • A New Level of Gaming Excellence!
Style: Graphic Card
As an avid gamer and tech enthusiast, I’ve been on a quest to find the perfect graphics card to enhance my gaming experience. Enter the ASUS ROG Strix NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 OC Edition, a powerhouse of a graphics card that has completely transformed my setup! From the moment I unboxed this beauty, I was struck by its stunning design with the RGB lighting and sleek cooling system. ASUS knows what gamers want, and they’ve delivered on both performance and aesthetics. Installation was seamless, fitting perfectly into my build with just the right amount of clearance. As for performance? Well, let’s just say it’s out of this world! I cranked up my settings to ultra on every AAA title I could find, including Doom Eternal. The RTX 3080 handled everything with grace - no lag, no stuttering, just smooth, immersive gameplay that took my breath away. The DLSS technology brought an extra layer of visual fidelity that I never knew I was missing. Who knew realism could be this engaging? Temperature management on this card is exceptional. Even during extended gaming sessions, the fans kept everything cool and quiet, which was a concern for me before making my purchase. In terms of value, the ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3080 OC Edition is worth every single penny. Sure, it’s an investment, but the joy and excitement it has brought to my gaming experience have been immeasurable. For gamers looking to future-proof their setups or simply want the ultimate gaming experience, I can’t recommend this card highly enough. In conclusion, if you want to elevate your gaming ventures to the next level, the ASUS ROG Strix NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 OC Edition is your ticket to a gaming utopia. It’s powerful, aesthetically pleasing, and downright revolutionary. Get ready to immerse yourself in a world of epic gaming—your adventure awaits! 🎮✨ ... show more

  • One Of The Best GPUs Out Right Now
Style: Graphic Card
I know it's worth quite a bit of money but man, trust me is it worth it. Any game I play I know I'll automatically get 300+ frames with high settings (ultra on some games) easily. Gone are the days of worry about fps spikes lol. Was reading some reviews of this card and some people were complaining about coil wine. Didn't even know what coil wine was until after I purchased the card and just wondering what other people thought of it. Admittedly it does have some coil wine but the only way I heard it was by launching a game, going to a practice room, setting all my fans (7) to "quiet mode" opening the side panel and carefully listening to the GPU. That is the only way I heard it. Unless you're PC is OPEN and you don't headphones or earphones then you might hear it but even then it really isn't that notable. I give this GPU a 10/10. ... show more

  • Hardest card to get MSRP, almost same price as the 3080 TI.
Style: Graphic Card
Performance is top notch, a bit more than than the vanilla 3080, less than the 3080TI. Prices are going down slowly, but buying this Strix 3080 12gb at premium for me is a money we'll spent. I could have gone for the TI {Strix} bit it's way out of my budget (saving for an ROG monitor). Wanted to complete my ROG build. Still rocking my 10 yr old ROG XONAR Phoebus Solo sound card. Build quality is AAA since I'm using everything Asus. Games is not a problem for this card with a i9-11900 non-k cpu. Card is beast! Beast in power and thermals. There's coil whine when on full load, which is negligible for me as my old Gigabyte 1080ti Around is much louder. This will be my card for a very long time. Deducting stars as price is almost the same as a TI and performance gains are minimal from 3080 10gb and TI. Still a GREAT card to buy if you have the money . ... show more

  • Great GPU!
Style: Graphic Card
Yo! It’s your awkward gaming youtuber TalesofArk, here for another random review! Ah, my first ever “High End” GPU, well it was in the past, not sure if it still is. This GPU is pretty boss, I am getting a lot of FPS in games and helping me render video a bit faster. Also it has a nice simple gaming design, nothing too distracting, but still pleasing to look at especially the ARGB streak going by the side, to go along with your PC rgb. I can’t go too deep about the specs, since I’m not as knowledge as others. My only complaint is something I learn recently with “High End” card and that is Coil Whine, this thing be screeching so loud depending on the game you play and how hot your fan is spinning trying to cool your gpu. That’s my only complaint, since this thing is strong enough to handle my gaming and editing workload. Great purchase! ... show more

  • GPU goes BZZZZzz
Style: Graphic Card
As the title states this card has a pretty hearable buzzing noise while underload (coil whine). If you are a headphone and closed case user, it might not bother you while gaming or hearing anything trough the headphones. since it doesn't mean it's going to break or anything it's not a negative point for me. Now another thing you might want to know, this GPU gets hot, real quick while running heavy games or RTX to the point it holds at 74C, running from 1900~1980 MHz (stock). so, I suggest to undervolt this GPU to give a better hold in the temps and expand the lifespan of the card. keep in mind in the photos I switched the profile of the GPU (I know it has a memory clock 100 MHz higher of stock, my mistake on that) was taken about 30 seconds apart while running the game live to give time to cool a bit while remaining under load. Holds temps around 63 to 66 when undervolted and 72 to 75 at stock depending on the game running (heavy games at max) Game: Resident Evil Village VIII running at max settings in "Super Quality" fidelity fx, RTX ON in a1440p@144fps monitor, GPU: 3080 12GB LHR I did the undervolt to extend the GPU life and decrease the fluctuation in MHz of the stock profile. Got this card for $800 before the 40xx announcement, I'm happy with the opportunity I had to get this card after years and years of saving and looking for this beauty of a card. might see myself looking for a GPU in around 5 years since my past GPU "1080 STRIX" still functional after 5 years of service, now is due to go on my racing sim build I have in mind in the near future. ... show more
