I have only owned one rtx 3070 card and paired it with my Ryzen 7 5800x and it has been beastly. I don't run any overclocks and it runs quiet, shines with amazing rgb, stays cool under load and has been amazing and given me no issues yet. I bought mine for a hell of a deal from an amazing seller here on Amazon. I got it in the same week I ordered it, it arrived in pristine factory sealed brand new condition, and I've loved it ever since. I’m glad Asus finally fixed their lighting with their Armoury crate app. RGB lighting would always default back to rainbow theme every time I boot up my pc. That’s fixed now! Asus GPU Tweak II is flawless for me. My profiles are correctly loaded and remembered. I replaced my 2080 super with this one. At 4k gaming, yes, the upgrade is worth it. At 1080p, I will probably keep my 2080S Heat dissipation is one of the strong points of this card. Mine is running with fans at 50% and it’s still dead silent. Temps are around 60-70C while gaming. I’m sure if I put more aggresive fan curve, the temps will still go down a bit. Now for some cons: This card is the most expensive 3070 card at the moment. It’s coming close to 3080FE price. But it comes factory OC’ed and with a great cooling. This is actually the same cooling solution from strix 3080 and 3090! This thing is also huge and heavy! Be sure to use gpu support bracket to prevent sagging. Or if your setup permits, mount it vertically. Hopefully stocks are replenished. 30 series is already hard to find, and this Strix version is even more harder! I got mine here, sold directly by Amazon. Try to avoid scalpers if you can. ... show more

I replaced my GTX 1080 GPU with this one and it is a great improvement. I runs all of my games on the highest settings. This is the first card that has done that. I was thinking about the 3080 but after using this for $500.00 less, I am going to stick with it.

Am I one fo the lucky ones that got a card on day 1???? Can't say enough about this beast. Upgrading from a 1070 it felt like I just traded-in my old 2000 Pontiac Grand AM and bought myself a brand new Tesla Model S. So far nothing negative. Setup was a breeze and my rig looks ROG sexy! Was thinking on upgrading to a RTX 3080 before but now I'll stick with this. Next upgrade will be in 2024-25. Start saving guys! ... show more

Was lucky enough to get one for msrp. Strix really is the top tier model for 3070. Has one of the best heat sinks out there. I get around 30c in idle and around 60-65c under heavy load.
