  • Great performance and value
I looked around for months before going with this laptop and I'm glad I did. Doesn't over heat, great gaming performance, durable and lightweight, screen is sharp. Only knock so far is the battery life doesn't impress. Compatability and transition with the UI was smoothe also. Def recommend.

  • Great Gaming upgrade !!
This laptop is a beast when it comes to gaming , I upgraded my sons laptop which was a MSI Katana i7 10 series intel with a 2070 super and let me tell you this Asus is a much faster pc , havent had it long so cant say too much but will update as time goes on. Only issue I have had is no fault of the seller at all , but UPS some how lost my package and was told by amazon to place another order and i would be credited back for the first order but out of no where the first PC shows up before the credit was even applied so now going through the process of returning one of the laptops but so far the seller has been great no issue with requesting my return due to the shipping mishap so hopefully this one arrives back and i am credited back for the orginal laptop. Will update this review once everything is settled and i have time to use this laptop further. ... show more

  • Fast, but not 4tb
Capacity: 64GB RAM | 4TB SSD Style: Bundle without Mouse
This is a great computer. It is fast and capable of the high res/4k & 8k photo and video editing that we purchased it for. So this laptop has been having a number of issues. Keep getting random blue screen errors, Bluetooth disappears randomly(gone from even device manager). The computer disappears from Aura as available device (software doesn't see the laptop it's running on, I know). This computer is not worth what we paid for it and I would suggest buying another choice. Ours is less than 2 months old and is already going to have to go to a repair shop to figure out why it keeps crashing. We literally only run the web browser, file browser, and Adobe editing software. Nothing crazy installed on this machine to cause such problems. One issue is that I paid for 4tb of storage and it only comes with 3.6tb total (3.4 gb available). Where is the other 400gb of storage space? Apr 2025 update: Ugh... Frustrations abound. This dang machine makes me want to pull my hair out. As a note here we haven't installed anything new, we only really use the Adobe editing softwares. We are now encountering random blue screens of impending death once to twice a week when we try to boot up the computer, and when it does boot up there is always some new fun little treasure hunt of troubleshooting to do, instead of what we need to do. Please do yourself a favor and get an HP or something, avoid these crappy machines. ... show more

  • Worth. Every. Cent.
Total beast. I upgraded from a 4-5 year old MSI gaming rig and this ASUS absolutely blows my mind. The old rig would struggle with Helldivers 2 while this one runs smoothly, even while unplugged (the MSI would drop 30fps unplugged!). Pros: Noise level. The fan, even at max turbo speed sounds like a pleasant white noise generator - seriously soothing lol. Heat. Ryzens work well for these things because they just start to throttle when approaching 90c and my rig was at about 83c during my intense sessions. Speed. Wow, this thing starts up extremely fast and my games/apps load faster than I have seen even in my previous desktop PC's. Weight. It's no MacBook Air but it is not nearly as heavy as I expected. Price. All these huge improvements and for only ~$1,700 at the time of purchase is insane. I could not be happier. Cons: The screen is not as crisp as you would see on many other devices. It is pretty washed and a little fuzzy. The refresh rate was set at 60hz until I manually changed it to 144hz, might want to check your device, too! The battery life is not game changing - but this is not something I expect from such a powerful device. I guesstimate 3.5 hours on moderate load? No deminished performance on battery power, though. That is pretty awesome. I would highly recommend this machine if you're a big gamer. Not so much if you're wanting to do video/photo editing and a lot of Photoshop, Illustrator, or Premiere (or maybe just with an external monitor?). Good luck! ... show more

  • Great one.
Not much too say! Asus is always a good to product for me! Made very time lasting! A good value for the money but could be cheaper as always lol.

  • So much to offer, but so many issues
The first week or two were fine with this laptop, it seemed to be running ok and I was adjusting to all the different settings and menus (there are SO MANY), but then once it started to have issues they just kept piling up. One of the main issues is that the screen would go black for a split second. It isn't from the screen going to sleep or timing out, I'll be actively scrolling on a website and it'll do that. That wasn't too bad, it was livable. Next up, the keyboard randomly started going to sleep after a few seconds. No settings were touched for this and it didn't do it over the first couple weeks of using the laptop, it just happened out of nowhere and I had to go into the Device Manager and disable random settings. Also, I am a big user of keyboard shortcuts (CTRL+V, CTRL+C, etc etc), and there has been a handful of times that these just straight up don't work. CTRL+Shift+X is used in my photo editing software to "Crop to selection", I use it a ton, this laptop didn't even recognize that these buttons were being pushed. The final straw came when the laptop decided to just turn off out of nowhere while I was in the middle of a recording project. The battery was full, I wasn't doing anything new or performance heavy, just a very simple clicking through menus on an app, and it shut down. I really wanted to give this a chance and hope the issues worked themselves out, but after less than a month I couldn't do it anymore. Is it possible that these issues can be resolved? Possibly, but I need something reliable that works how it's supposed to work out of the box, and this isn't it. ... show more
