It looses connection constantly no matter what room of the house. Crappy connection, when there are other devices connected to the wifi in the same room working perfectly fine, the laptop will still loose it's connection or be extremely slow.

Based on the serial number on this unit, Asus tells me that it was sold to Walmart, and apparently that's where E Commerce bought it, and then sold it to me on Amazon. They only offer a 90 day warranty, while the warranty pamphlet states one year. Asus will not extend the warranty because the unit was sold by an "authorized" seller. There is no way to find out about the discrepancy, or to find E Commerce's phone number. Though they are not registered with the Better Business Bureau, they have an "F" rating with them with 2 unanswered complaints regarding the same issue. Do not do business with E Commerce, and double check the warranty if you are buying an Asus computer from a third party through Amazon. ... show more

After 2months of purchasing my wifi is not working and I have to connect via Ethernet cable. Of course my return window closed a month previously to me having the issue. Had to call Microsoft tech support and ended up doing a full pc factory reset with tech support and my WiFi is still not working. After spending $830, I expect to have everything in good working condition. I should have went with a well known computer brand like HP or Dell. Very unsatisfied. ... show more

I got it to play games. Unfortunately, I can't play games. Skip this and save yourself heart break and frustration. You can do far better. Just because the price " seems reasonable " is not a good excuse to get it. Save up to get better. It just won't stop crashing no matter what I do. Amazon. Stop selling these. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPUTER! This is not tough. 3 keys have fallen off in 6 months. Never had this happen in my life and I've owned 20+laptops. Battery life is terrible. Update: 12-05-25 3 years later motherboard and CPU are fried. 450.00 repair.
