    • Asus laptops tend to overheat, do research before buying
I purchased this Asus 2022 Tuf Gaming A15 about a year ago I wanted to use it extensively before leaving a review. I found that it tends to overheat and that's not a good thing for a laptop. I don't use it for gaming purposes so that can't be used as an excuse for it to be overheating. I recently researched online and found that this is an ongoing issue with Asus laptops. Techs/users online have reported that the fans and cooling vents don't appear to be adequate for these laptops and those may be some contributing factors to the overheating issues. I only wish that I had found this information before purchasing a laptop that costs over $1000. Also, when I received this laptop in 2023 and proceeded to set it up I found that the Asus warranty had already expired. This was not posted in the product description by the Amazon reseller. My recommendation to anyone who may be looking to purchase a Asus laptop is to do extensive research before buying. I have had HP and Lenovo laptops in the past that I used for 5-7 years before looking to replace or upgrade and I definitely got my money's worth from those products.     • One year later, Laptop suddenly dies.
I dont know if this is typical of the tuf laptops. but mine is Dead Dead. everything was working fine, then it suddenly shuts off and doesnt turn back on.
