I love my ROG. It's basically a windows 11 laptop but in handheld gaming form. I'm an avid gamer. This model handles top tier games like fallout 4 & 76, Cyberpunk and Baldur's Gate 3, all which are graphic intense games. It handles them fine on medium to high graphic settings with no issues. I bought the ROG so I wouldn't be bored waiting at my wife's school for her for several hours after school. The battery could be better, it lasts about 45-90 minutes depending on which game I play. So I bought an external battery that gives me an extra 120+ minutes. It does put out some heat at the center top, so recommend not leaving it laying on a flat surface for a period of time. I've read about the memory card location issue but have not used one yet due to having a 10-15 games I installed and only used have of the 2TB HD. Would like to see improvements on the heat dissipation and battery life on future models. Otherwise I would highly recommend one to anyone who wants a handheld gaming system that can do more that just play games. When it comes to handheld gaming systems, Rog is above the rest. ASUS has raised the bar for handheld gaming systems with the creation of Rog. It is well put together, well designed and goes beyond all expectations when operating. The graphics are unbelievable. All we can say is...........WOW!

The Rog device is great itself. The store to which I purchased it from is trash. No where in the description does it say this device is used and or refurbished. Brand new item is what I expected. The device came timely via ups which was amazing. However when I opened the device it was already opened and used. It was still logged into someone’s account and was locked out. Again, upon purchasing I assumed this was a brand new product. So, I couldn’t get a hold of the store to be able to get information and help so I decided to call ASUS to assist me. Asus was also unable to assist me. I took to the internet. I found a way to by pass the previous owners stuff and was able to start it over from scratch. Where it then did not want to update. Patience was important here so I just kept working on the updates and they finally did. So the device is cool. I’m a moderate gamer, playing overwatch, dead by daylight, and destiny 2 regularly and it runs without flaw so far. I’ve only used it so far as a handheld while I travel for work. I appreciate the bundle it came in. So aside from the store front not giving details on previous ownership, and the lack of ability to contact the store being annoying as hell, once I was able to access and update the device it was exactly what I was looking for. Couldn't get the device to work. It was malfunctioning &I'm not familiar with gaming or tech mechanisms. Seller was allowing us to return (outside of the return window) I was so grateful that I decided to give it one last shot. Took it to geek squad &the system kept looping to the beginning of the process. So we made an appointment for monday to reinstall Word &place an armory crate inside. Seemingly sitting in its box in the trunk of my vehicle over the wknd the actual problem resolved itself so the gentleman set everything up for us &my lil boy is super stoked. I am outside my return window I’m told (by a few days) but my Rog is so slow and makes crackling noises if the volume is up enough for me to hear anything. I have spent hours updating only to have games consistently freeze or crash or the crackling is so loud I can’t handle it. I would like to return it but can’t get in touch with anyone.
