Initially I received an open-box unit that clearly had been installed and man handled a bit. While I was disappointed, the card seemed to function fine initially, but after about a day of use the video output would cut out ever 60-90 seconds briefly. Very frustrating because if would take 5-10 seconds to be restored to my Omen 34c monitor. Amazon's service bot was a little frustrating at first, but did offer a free replacement card and shipping label. I dinged 1 star because of open box item wasn't in description, and the first card was faulty. The replacement card appears to be working just fine. It's definitely quieter than my GTX1080ti, but I wish I'd had budget for 16gb version. ... show more

DO NOT BUY THE 8GB VERSION OF THIS CARD, THE 8GB VERSION IS NEAR OBSOLETE FOR CURRENT TRIPLE A TITLES. That being said, the 16gb version of this card is a wonderful option 1440p gamers, and is fairly reasonably priced (I've seen 370-420$ and MSRP is 350)

The msrp is 299$ for the regular 8gb card so don't buy this VERY over priced piece of e-waste ! An 8gb card in 2025 is stupid if you want to play current AAA games !
