Why did you pick this product vs others?: ASUS ROG puts a different feel to their products that you cant get from too many other manufacturers especially as consistently that they deliver it as well. There are no weak points to their products unlike some other manufacturers that focus on 1 or 2 aspects of their product and the rest is just okay enough. They take pride in their work and every product is crafted with the gamer in mind. Features like the bios flash option is a lifesaver instead of having to remove my GPU and reset CMOS by removing the battery when i accidentally set something wrong in the BIOS. I used this board for my niece’s PC but. I have a 550-Pro, and this board is identical minus the USB-c front panel, a few of the USB ports in the back, and a couple less RGB headers. Otherwise, it is the same. This does have Wi-fi and Bluetooth built in unlike the 550-Pro. Great board to build on. Quick tip just like the 550-Pro if you use the second NVME M.2 slot Sata port 6 will not work because they share the same lane. If you do not use the second NVME you have use of all 6 sata ports, but keep in mind you will lose one if you do. 5 Sata ports is more than enough these days especially if you have a massive Gen 3 NVME in the second SSD slot. And my final tidbit, you this MOBO supports up to a Ryzen 9 5950X if you flash the bios to version 0303. So, if you have a Ryzen 3, 5, 7, you can upgrade all the way up to the Ryzen 9 5950X with this board in the future.

En general me gustó demasiado porque llegó muy bien el pedido en excelentes condiciones, totalmente sellado y nuevo, todas sus partes íntegras sin ningún daño físico observable. No puedo darle cinco estrellas, porque fue demasiado complicado instalar el sistema operativo Windows 11, en general ya me estaba dando casi que por vencido porque no miraba una luz para realizarlo, ya había descargado el instalador de muchas maneras y no lo graba arrancarlo en la BIOS. Por si a alguien le sirve tuve que realizar la siguiente configuración y al final sí lo logré: en la bios toca configurar el modo compatible para uefi y sistema operativo viejo es una opción que activa las dos cosas al mismo tiempo, configurar el modo de arranque seguro de manera adecuada implica seleccionar la USB donde tienes el instalador que sí o sí debe estar formateada en fat32 porque de lo contrario no funcionará y además la USB tiene que tener un tamaño mínimo de 16 Gb, Pero al final tuve que hacerlo con una USB de 32 GB formateada en fat32 ese es uno de los grandes rasgos a tener en cuenta, debes Descargar desde Microsoft oficial Windows 11 pero la imagen ISO, Y su peso aproximado es de 6 GB, después de Descargar el sistema operativo debes convertirlo en un programa que debes instalar en un computador diferente, normalmente te da dos opciones GPT y MBR, debes seleccionar GPT y esperar que la imagen hizo se convierta, eso se demora un poco, luego la insertas en la USB ya formateada, si sigues correctamente estos pasos no existirá inconveniente, después de que hayas configurado la bios debes asegurarte de guardar la configuración en el panel de opciones y volver a abrir la bios, después de realizar eso en mi caso tuve que presionar la tecla F7 para que me lleve a la otra ventana que tiene la bios seguido de eso presioné f12 para arrancar la USB en donde me preguntaba diferentes opciones que reconocía la placa madre, yo fui probando una por una con paciencia y la que me funcionó fue la tercera o cuarta opción si no estoy mal, Aunque Sí fue demasiado lento el proceso. Por último compré una Ram de 32 GB Dual Channel 16 Gb por cada uno, para que trabajara una frecuencia de 3200, pero originalmente el sistema no permitía que la ram trabaje a esa velocidad porque la ponía de forma nativa a 2120, para solucionarlo tuve que ingresar a la bios y dentro de una de sus configuraciones avanzadas para la ram active la opción D.O.C.P. para hacer overclock y en la primera opción de por sí ya te reconoce la bios la ram a 3200, una lección importante después de que haya seleccionado eso lo demás debes dejarlo en automático, intenté realizarlo manualmente y el resultado fue que el computador diera pantalla negra y ya no arrancará ni la bios ni el sistema operativo, me llevé un gran susto cuando me sucedió eso, sin embargo la solución fue desconectar de la corriente el computador y tener la fuente en modo apagado para luego proceder a retirar la pila de reloj que tiene la placa madre y seguido a eso con un destornillador hacer contacto en unas en unos dos filamentos que se encuentran juntos no recuerdo bien el nombre pero según la especificación de la placa si los unes con la punta del destornillador te permite reiniciar el arranque del bios para que puedas volver a configurar, Por ese motivo después de haber activado la opción de overclock y que el sistema lo reconozca 3200 todo lo demás solamente debes ponerlo en automático y ya queda realizado ese proceso para que te funcione normalmente. Olvidé mencionar que antes de instalar el sistema operativo debes descargar la bios actualizada en la misma USB y formateada en fat32 pero debe estar simplemente con la bios aún no debes de haber descargado el sistema operativo, seguido a eso dentro de la bios debes de arrancarla para que se actualice la bios, si sigues todos los pasos que te mencioné con paciencia y tolerancia a la frustración lograrás instalar sin problema el sistema operativo de Windows 11. Recapitulación para lograrlo: 1. Actualizar bios 2. Configurar bios 3. Descargar y arrancar correctamente el sistema operativo 4. Sí o sí para hacer overclock de la ram ya debes de tener instalado tu sistema operativo y descargado los controladores y drivers necesarios para que funcione tu computador. Este es el último paso que debes de realizar No está de más recordar que primero debes de haber hecho una conexión correcta física de todos sus componentes y que todo sea compatible entre sí, en mi caso investigué parte por parte que debía comprar antes de conseguir esta placa madre para evitar tener errores. Cosas comunes es que por ejemplo la ram no es compatible con la placa madre y jamás vas a lograr que arranque nada o por otro lado la unidad de estado sólido de pronto no sea compatible con la placa madre. Es decir que primero Debes tener compatibilidad con tu procesador cpu con la ram con la unidad de memoria que vayas a utilizar sea disco duro normal o Estado sólido con tu gpu tarjeta gráfica con tu fuente de alimentación que tenga los watts correctos para arrancar tus componentes en mi caso compré una fuente de 750 watts para tener un margen de sobra y evitar que esté todo sobre el límite Realmente no tengo ningún estudio informático y tuve que estudiar y aprender todo desde cero a medida que me lo iba exigiendo el proceso de armado de mi computador, intenté incluso con un ingeniero en sistemas cuando ya me iba a dar por vencido para que me ayude y a él le resultó complicado el proceso del cual me tuve que apersonar para poder lograrlo. Lo que te escribí ahorita es el resumen de varios días intentando después de haber leído mirado videos Y por último ayudarme un poco preguntando a una IA, y que si sigues correctamente los pasos que te mencioné no va a existir ningún problema para que puedas disfrutar de tu placa madre. Quiero Resaltar que ya después de Instalar los controladores y drivers no tuve ningún problema para usar el wi-fi o Bluetooth que otros usuarios que compraron esta placa madre reportaron, todo funcionó correctamente. Esta reseña la estoy realizando a un mes y medio de haber realizado la compra después de haberle configurado a gusto muchas cosas y exigirle un poco a todos sus componentes.

I purchased this board to replace an ASUS ROG X-470F motherboard that died. Pros: This board has the same number of SATA ports as the 470 (6), which was important for me, because all my games are stored in SATA SSDs. This MB boots quite a bit faster than my previous board. That’s always a plus. Built-in Wi-Fi controller. While I had a Wi-Fi expansion card for the x470 board, it was good to have it built-in to help clean up the interior of the case. Plenty of ports. Not only the above mentioned SARA ports, but plenty of USB ports, as well, including support for front-of-case ports. I have 6 USB cables plugged in and still have two free ports in the back, and 6 more on the case top. Drivers included on CD/DVD. This is a big deal to me, because newer boards don’t appear to include them. PNP picks up much of the drivers, but not all. Without included drivers, you might have to go to another machine to download them. That’s not customer-friendly. Cons: The Wi-Fi antenna is non-magnetic. This allows the antenna to slide off the case way too easily, diminishing the signal from the router, if you don’t notice it immediately. The Aura lights are not on top of the board. If you have ARGB light bars, it can flood out the boards built-in lights. DisplayPort and HDMI ports included, but so far, I have not been able to find integrated video hardware. This one has me confused.
